Very good museum for kids and young people. It’s free admission and a lot of things around for kids to play with and make themselves busy.
Also a good place for drawings and special place for kids under 2 years old for play.
Good cafe to relax and have a drink or something to eat.
So all around is good and would recommend for people with kids to visit this place.

We visited with our 4 year old for the first time today, we went just after opening time on a Saturday so it got busy quite quickly after. There are a good few bits of play for toddlers and some up to I’d say 5 years old. We enjoyed the museum, and the cafe has good food for both adults and kids. Toilets are nice and clean, and lifts for buggy users as well as lots of space to put your buggy away. Would recommend, it is also free so can’t go wrong!

The museum is free. Our first visit after refurbishment. Love the new setup with emphasis on play and learning. Ample space generally incorporating the museum exhibitions, design craft, and workshops. Also cafe restaurant.

The children had fun with their own performance in the theatre room.

The current paid exhibition about Egypt was informative and attractive. Has a trail and various activities to engage.

The children want to go again!

Great day out.

Went early on a weekday.
Free to use lockers.
Buggy bays inside.
Large toilet facilities.
Lots of hands-on activities throughout, that get the kids immediately engaged as soon as they step into the museum.

It's a great place you can visit, and plenty to do, see and learn about, that you can visit every so often.

The kids enjoyed their visit to the Young V&A but we wasn't there for overly long... would guess at about 1.5 hours ish at the most. Some of the bits were a bit too young for them and other bits were inside cabinets, and they haven't got much patience for reading! As an adult, I mainly enjoyed looking over all the 'old' toys and games, some of which we still have! It's worth mentioning that its Free to enter the museum and we didn't need to book or anything, so you could just pop in, take a look round and then go! There is also a cafe in the main area, so you could extend your visit by getting a warm drink and some cake! Worth a visit, but don't expect it to keep you occupied for a whole day.

This place is amazing to bring your little ones, even as an adult I love coming here. They always have different activities for children to do. It is a step free access and there is disabled car park available, however it can be limited in busy hours and time. You can take the bus and overground, both are near.

There is three floors, the bottom floor is a cafe and the top two floors are for little explorer. You can check to see what activities they have and Que up for it, this is absolutely free.

There are really cool stuff to play for children and as an adult I enjoyed it too.

There is two shops, you can buy toys,
Book, Posters etc.

Toilets are available to use and so far it’s always been clean. (Thanks to the cleaner doing an amazing job)

Everyone there is well coming and happy to assist you.

A nice place to go on a cold day. It's a bit far from us so not a journey to do often. The museum is more bite sized than other London museums. It's interactive for kids and nostalgic for adults. I'd say about 1-1.5 hours is how long you'd likely spend there. There's a little cafe inside which we skipped on, and went to the lovely The Gallery Cafe nearby instead.

There are three big galleries at Young V&A, called Imagine, Play and Design. There are sometimes exhibitions which may carry an entrance charge, but there's always something to do.
It’s a great place for kids at all ages, with so many different activities and attractions your children will enjoy and have a good time.
It also includes a “buggy park “ for the parent’s convenience.
