What can I say! Time spent with The Secret Crocheter is just time well spent with like minded folk.

Thank you SO SO much Nicola for a blooming marvellous day with Wooly words and Wooly spring flowers! As always great company, great tuition and well worth the 5hr round trip down to see you!

If anyone is thinking about attending one of Nicolas workshops they're absolutely brilliant. Want somewhere to stay, I can highly recommend the Kings Head which is just across the road from the crochet cabin. The food is good and you may get evening entertainment also with a live band!

If I could rate this 10 stars I'd give 100! 😁

I have finally been to my first crochet workshop with Nicola. No secret!! It was absolutely amazing. Altho I am able to crochet basics,she taught me a new skill and I am certainly returning for more,plus the social'Yarn and Yap' sessions.
It was fun, friendly...and professional.

Learnt to crochet with Nicola nearly 2 years ago and the 1-1 lesson was excellent. Since then have purchased all patterns from her as they are easy to follow and have useful videos to assist you. Nicola is also always available to assist if required. Not finished my first project yet, but half way through and loving it. I would highly recommend Nicola to anyone wanting to learn to crochet.

Nicola taught me to crochet back in 2019 and I've not stopped since! Nicola is such a kind and gentle teacher. I have since been to many different workshops with Nicola. I've learnt various different crochet stitches as well as how to make soap socks, cardigans, baskets, and many more. If you wish to learn how to crochet or even just join a social environment and make friends, then the secret crocheted is definitely for you!

Nicola taught me how to crochet before lock down. A very patient teacher! Since then I have been on several workshops to expand my skills but more than that have met other wonderful people, of all abilities, who are willing to give advice & tips.
I cannot recommend the Secret Crocheter enough, truly has opened a whole new world to me! I am loving my hobby ❤️

Without Nicola’s workshops, I would not have explored the possibilities of crochet. I have learnt new stitches and types of crochet and have completed a wide range of crocheted projects. Nicola’s workshops are safe places with no pressure to keep up with the quickest participants. Nicola is very patient and encouraging and writes her patterns very clearly so they can be followed easily if you choose a kit instead of a workshop. Helpful videos are available too.
If you’ve wondered whether crochet is for you, Nicola is the prefect teacher (alternatively try her learn to crochet kits, if you’re not local).

I'd tried to teach myself to crochet using YouTube and even found some videos for left handers but I just couldn't get it. After just one learn to crochet session with Nicola, I was away! I've since purchased her patterns and went to the confidence in crochet workshop which was fantastic. I'd highly recommend Nicola to anyone interested in learning crochet or developing their skills.
