I did the walk on my own after a significant meal. Wonderful walk in one of the best gayborhoods in the nation with ample queer history for the beginner or longtime study.

I wanted to leave a review but was too choked up to do so originally. This was my first visit to Boystown and The Legacy Walk. Seeing myself represented as a queer person and seeing people literally out, while reading about all the people that made this possible, absolutely made me cry with happiness. The fact that this is available to us now because of the sacrifices of so many brave souls, especially BIPOC LGBT+ people, warms my heart and saddens me that they can't see what they've made for future generations to feel loved and safe. If you're queer, do yourself a favor and visit The Legacy Walk, even if it's just to soak up the fact that you're valid, loved, and worthy. There's a warm light in places where I really feel safe to be queer and proud. Thank you for helping bring that to us.
