I joined The Hub about 6 weeks ago and for someone who was a complete novice / newbie with Gyms or Training before it's been a great experience.

Jack, Chris and Ben guide and coach the classes personally and help you get the best out of them plus most importantly yourselves. Just stepped my visits up to 3x per week and the health benefits are noticeable already.

I'm over 60 an I've been going to different gyms on and off. Recently I had major back surgery and post Op I wanted to build my back and stamina up. I feel I've found the perfect gym. The trainers are friendly and knowledgeable and have listened to my concerns and adapted sessions for my benefit. They also push me to reach my goals. The sessions are in groups and can be booked easily. It's a winning formula!

Best place to be!! All the coaches are amazing, make you feel so comfortable and help you progress each time you attend a class. All the members are so nice and a real variety so no one feels any pressure. The best team you could possibly join!!

At the beginning of the year I wrote down a list of things I wanted to achieve this year and one was to get fit and healthy! I knew I needed to do something but what that was I had no idea. I knew what worked in my 40’s wouldn’t work now I’m in my 50’s. I lost so much confidence that going to a gym was daunting & not one I wanted to do as I had no idea what machines or weights I needed to use or even how to use them without causing myself an injury. It was only when a post on instagram caught my eye “The Hub” were looking for ladies over 50 to do a 6wk challenge. I had nothing to lose so I filled the form out and waited for a call from one of the coaches Chris. He listened to my concerns and worries and assured me The Hub was the right place for me.
The Hub is a small team and everyone is really friendly.
I finished my 6wk challenge two weeks ago and haven’t looked back since. I have more energy, feel a lot happier in myself and I’ve also managed to lose 7lbs… win, win!!!😀 I made sure I made the most of the 6wks & attended 3/4 classes a week. The coaches Jack, Chris and Ben are there with you every step of the way, encouraging and advising you on what’s best for you. The people that attend the classes are also very friendly.
So if you are thinking about joining do it don’t hesitate & waste anymore time….. you won’t regret it.

I have been to 10 strength sessions at the Hub so far. The sessions are easy to book and are at convenient times. The trainers are really friendly and supportive. They are good at knowing when to push you and when to adapt the exercise for you. The range of equipment and exercises is impressive. I haven’t yet had 2 sessions the same! All the other members have been really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to all!

Ok. Just to make one thing clear. I hate gyms! I've been a member of other gyms from time to time and the standard experience is that a smiling instructor will spend an hour or so showing you how the Gizmotron X9000 Robofit works before leaving you to your own devices while they go away and deal with fit people who could bench press an elephant.

This is different. It's group classes for a start. The groups are never that massive so there's always a personal touch to proceedings. The instructors take the time to work out what YOU need and push you just enough to make sure you get the most out of each session without quite making you curse the day they were born.

The sessions vary so you never spend your time doing the same thing two sessions running. The group members are a friendly bunch and you get that added burst of energy from getting the encouragement to get those last few reps in before the clock goes beep.

I'm a long long way from being one of the fitter members they have but in the first 6 weeks I've lost weight and am one hellova lot fitter than I was (from a very low base I'll admit). Heck I even get annoyed when I have to miss out on a planned session when work gets in the way.

So for the record I still hate gyms. But not The Hub ok?!

More than a gym! Been training on and off my whole life trying different classes, sports and programmes. I can honestly say the team at The Hub are onto a winning formula with a variety of classes and a structured approach to help members achieve their goals. The friendly team help with all movements, ensure variety in the classes and foster a community vibe with social aspects going above and beyond what you would get in a “regular” gym. Seeing improvements in health, strength and fitness. Enjoying being a member, well done to The Hub!
