We had a brilliant experience at The Family Phychologist, Amie the Manager was fab at organising everything for my sons assessment. I had a few phone calls with her and each was very professional and reassuring at the same time.
When we arrived we were welcomed with a cup of tea and colouring for my son, we were made to feel very welcome and at home, everyone was so friendly. We saw 3 different people during my sons assessment and each one gave him so much time and patience, it really was a good experience for him. We got a diagnosis a day after our last assessment so I am really pleased with the time frames. I would definitely recommend this company.

A warm, welcoming and professional service. I cannot thank The Family Psychologist enough for their care and compassion for my daughter. They understood her and her challenges from day one. We received her Autism diagnosis quickly and the whole process felt painless. She has also received CBT sessions after her diagnosis and these have supported her connect with herself and be proud of who she is. Thank you for helping my girl be even more amazing 🙂

The people who work here are absolute gems. The receptionists are patient, knowledgeable and friendly and the psychologists go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. They recently provided me with an in-depth support letter, at short notice, at no cost to me at all. Contrast this with my gp, who hasn’t helped one jot and hasn’t got back to me on an issue from July (it is now September.) If you have been referred to the Family Psychologists then you should count yourself lucky. The people here genuinely care about you. You’re in safe hands.

I attended the Family Psychology unit yesterday to have my Autism assessment, and from the second I walked through the door, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The receptionists were friendly and warm. My Psychologist, Oren, who conducted my assessment was just lovely and made me feel relaxed and open enough to get through the questions and tasks and I felt I could be really honest about my answers. She is a huge credit to the team, and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for diagnosing my Autism and helping me. She has also sent me lots of support materials. Thank you! 😊

Couldnt fault lou and team, Amie made our appointments around us the best they could, my daughter settled right in and made us all so welcome. Got our diagnosis within a week and had a follow up call after that. Kindly wrote us a letter confirming our diagnosis only waiting for our full report now.
