What fun, and I learnt a lot too! Family of 4 and this was suitable for all ages. My first time piping fondant (it's like bathroom sealant for those who have done that!). We did the filled chocolate and truffles. Took home loads of great high quality chocs! But the best bit in my opinion was the beautiful style of Karen and Debbie. Karen was an awesome teacher, then let us practice, showed us then coached us. All in a light hearted way. The tension of "how will my chocs turn out" - well see the video for sheer delight and kitchen applause when one had a perfect turnout! Highly recommended.

Everyone in my party had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon doing the Chocolate Gifts workshop. It was educational, challenging at times, informative, and, above all, huge fun.
Karen and the team are excellent and I would absolutely recommend anyone to enrol. In fact, some of my party are already talking about coming back!

I had the best time @the chocolate school with Karen yesterday. I did two different workshops, the bean to bar and the filled chocolates and truffle course. Both of these workshops taught me so much. I can't wait to go back and do a more advance chocolate workshop once I've mastered everything I've been taught. What a fantastic teacher and easy to learn from. I went to the Chocolate School with my 9 year old daughter for a birthday gift, and had a wonderful morning. To start with, the whole place smells divine - just heavenly, as one might imagine!

Our hosts and teachers, Karen and Deborah, gave us a very warm welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits, with squash and water for the kids.

They told us lots of interesting info about chocolate - the plant, the farming process, how to spot quality chocolate ingredients, along with some tasters (yum), and happily answered everyone's questions as we went along.

They gave a great demo of what we would be doing before allowing us to get stuck in ourselves. We created a selection of chocolate bars, truffles, and dipped goodies such as pretzels, honeycomb and fudge, all with our favourite chosen toppings, sprinkles and flavours.

It was a great few hours spent with my daughter creating some delicious treats to take home! I would highly recommend it as an interesting, unusual and great value experience!

I absolutely loved this chocolate gift making course. I couldn’t believe how much we packed into 3 hours. We had a great time learning all the different techniques for truffles, chocolate coated candied oranges, florentines, a chocolate bowl and more, under Karen’s expert guidance. As well as all of our goodies, we came away with our recipes also, so we can make more chocolates at home in future.
I did a chocolate course a long while ago, but this was by far and away the best. Karen is very knowledgable and welcoming and we learnt so much about chocolate. Would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting a fun morning learning a new skill, or to perfect your chocolate techniques and learn from a master chocolatier.

WOW!!! Karen is a delight very friendly and knowledgeable about all things chocolate. I attended the Bean to Bar course and was astonished by the hands on experience and the sheer quantity of chocolate I got to make and bring away with me. The set up of the room is amazing and everything taught is easy to duplicate at home. Its fantastic value for money compared to other chocolate schools out there.

Had a great time on the truffle course learnt a lot and had some great tasting chocolates to take home. You also get a handy book to help you replicate this at home, which we have already used. We are hoping to book the other course in the near future!

I couldn’t recommend the chocolate school enough! We were a big family group - Karen and her team were so accommodating and flexible with what we wanted, patient and knowledgeable in teaching us, good humoured to make the workshop enjoyable and overall just great company. We thought the workshop was really good value for money as well with the length of it and the fact that resources weren’t rationed, and we came out with so much chocolate to take home! 5star experience for sure 🌟
