From start to finish the Autism Pathway has been brilliant. They are very skilled in assessments, particularly in working with girls who are often overlooked in the education system and may present differently to boys. The process was smooth and concluded within a month of initial referral. We were very particular in choosing the appropriate provider and definitely made the right decision. We and our child felt heard and listened to throughout the process. As parents when children are masking at school it can feel like you have nowhere to turn, this organisation completed a holistic assessment taking parents experiences into account alongside school and face to face young person assessments. I would 100% recommend the Autism Pathway.

Thank you so much to The Autism Pathway. Everyone I have spoken to has been so helpful, empathic and knowledgeable. I come with a lot of questions that were answered to help put my husband and I at ease. Nothing was ever too much trouble and you were just fantastic. The process was quick from the initial step, so thank you as by processing this in a quick manner helped us massively.
If I doubt don't be, they are fantastic here.
Again thank you so much.

Excellent service from the initial email enquiry through to assessment and any queries. Very impressed with the calibre of the team, experienced and knowledgeable. Less than 4 weeks from first contact to assessment report. Thank you so much to the team, you have given us so much information and support for our daughter to move forward.

We used the Autism Pathway to do an assessment on our 3 year old who was displaying autistic traits. From beginning (the very first initial phone call) to the end (our last meeting to discuss the report) the whole process has been incredibly supportive and thorough. As a parent, I've felt reassured, affirmed and listened to. It felt so nice to 'share' my child and our experiences with people who genuinely cared, were knowledgable and were so ready to celebrate him for the gorgeous little boy he is. In my job, I've seen and supported many families through the NHS diagnoses process for Autism and the experience I have had with the Autism Pathway completely knocks the NHS out of the park, there is literally no comparison! I was expecting this but not to the degree I experienced... The final report was immensely detailed and showed that they really understood our child. I cannot think of any better way to have begun our journey with autism and I cannot thank the staff, particularly Kuly and Maddie enough for their kindness and support through this process. So thankyou ❤️

I had spent a long time researching different options and recommendations for an assessment. I knew from the first phone call I made to the Autism Pathway that they were going to be our first choice. I had lots of questions and they were so supportive, patient, friendly and reassuring.

They have a very quick turn around time because they appreciate how stressful it can be waiting. They achieve this through excellent communication and organisation, this was clear from the very beginning. I had the ADI-r via zoom with a very experienced nurse called Katie, she was so understanding and really listened to everything, offering some great advice too. The ADOS-2 was with Dr Kuly Heer in St. Albans. My daughter masks very well and gets extremely anxious. I was so worried that Dr Kuly wouldn’t be able to see past the masking but I had nothing to worry about. My daughter felt at ease and even really enjoyed the session. The assessment report was returned a couple of weeks later and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Although I knew my daughter was autistic, I needed an official diagnosis to get her more support at school. She was on the NHS waiting list which would have taken far too long, instead of taking her straight off the list, I forwarded the report and had it accepted by the NHS so there was no chance of coming across any other barriers in the future. This was done within 2 months of starting the whole process, which I wouldn’t have believed possible. There were no further questions because of the great detail and depth of the report. Many other professionals have since commented on the excellent quality of the report, even saying that it is the best report that they have ever read. It has been used many times as invaluable evidence for gaining extra support for my daughter.

Unfortunately it can be very hard to get the much needed support for children with additional needs but all the staff at the autism pathway are genuine, caring experts who want to help and make a difference. They have been always been there to answer any questions and have offered further advice and support over and above what I ever expected. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering the pathway using a private company. I am so pleased that I made the decision to use the Autism Pathway and wish them every good fortune.
