I got referred from my GP very quickly and within weeks I was seeing Emma S every fortnight, and I can't thank her enough having someone that will just listen to you really helped me.
Thank you Emma and thank you MIND 😃

Been seeing Tina a while, she's so lovely and really helps me put things into perspective when I become overwhelmed, you don't have to wait too long when referred and there's always a phone in and drop in when things get a bit much too, thankyou mind 💕 unfortunately i had a very bad experience with the listening space where you ring in, I spoke to a completely useless woman who to be honest is dangerous to have on a phone line for people in crisis, she made me feel worse and like a freak, she had no empathy and no idea about the stress and pain Intrusive thoughts and OCD ha e on people, she was awful, so tina gets 5 * but the one star is for the listening space, do not ring if you are feeling really Low!

I want to thank Mind and especially Nicole L for an amazing service. I have had problems with mental health all my life and the meetings with Nicole have been incredibly helpful, I have had a lot of services give up on me in the past but she hasn’t which gives me hope for the future.
I don’t often leave reviews but I need to express how wonderful Nicole and Mind have been to me. Thank you.

I am not one to leave reviews but i have to say my experience with Oldham Mind has bordered on clinical negligence by them, they are called mind but ironically have just messed with mind.

Walked into their offices on around 7th of August, requested help with finding a counsellor, they took my details and i was told someone would be in contact with me, i requested contact by email/mobile, turned out they tried to contact a landline which they pulled from A&E info from a couple of months ago but upon checking the landline call history there were no calls made!

Go back the following week, w/c 14th August, again they said someone would contact me by phone/email, heard noting for a week.

Went back in a week later chasing it up which resulted in a email from them on the 22nd august to say their really busy but someone will be in contact with me in a few weeks.

Heard noting so went back in on the at the end of August and i was told someone would contact me, and if someone does not then by x date then go into the office.

Not heard back, so went back into the office w/c 4th September, was told the adult team was in, i was taken upstairs, someone apologised and said a assessment would be done the following week by the Manager (w/c 11th September) and would get a appointment for it asap.

Its now w/c 11th September and no appointment or further contact.

Its been a month of chasing mind who cant even be bothered to make contact at all.

I needed this place after some awful times in High School and College. University I had a far better time although I did have some problems, that was due to my Asperger's and past troubles. This place has been really helpful, like to have more than 8 weeks, still has been really helpful.
