Dawn is a fantastic counsellor. I’d had a bad experience in the past so was quite reluctant to try again but after reading reviews and speaking with Dawn on the phone I decided to give it a go again. I’m really glad I did as I’m feeling a lot better and can see I’m making progress. Dawn is very easy to talk to/open up to and is friendly and professional. I would recommend her to anyone who feels in need of counselling.

I came to Dawn on an individual basis for treatment for anxiety related issues. I found her counselling to be a very good fit for me. She’s action orientated, which suited me down to the ground as I’m very much a doer! She goes for the jugular and doesn’t waste time (I only had four sessions) but in that time I made significant changes in my personal and work life, and I can’t recommend her service enough. She knows what she’s talking about and gets stuck straight in. Very satisfied 👍🏻

I visited Dawn last September to discuss an anxiety issue related to travelling that had impacted me for a number of years. I found Dawn’s services to be superb. From the initial conversation, I found her very compassionate, understanding, but crucially probing, so that we were able to understand, identify, and solve the issue. It turned out it wasn’t what I thought was causing the problem, but something else! If you want to be self-indulged, Molly cuddled, or have any irrational thoughts justified in an overly sympathetic manner, then Dawn’s services are not for you. If however you want to make an irrational issue rational by probing, sometimes having difficult conversations, and ultimately solving the problem then I would recommend!

I would also say as well, when dealing with issues like this, professional help is key as having friends/loved ones etc try and justify the fear or create a safe space, actually has the opposite effect to the good intentions intended

I travel a lot with work and the anxiety used to be dreadful! Now, nothing and complete normality.

After struggling with anxiety and depression for a long time, I finally decided to try counselling. I booked an appointment with Dawn, and immediately knew that I’d made the right decision! She helped me to understand my anxiety and helped me to face my fears. Dawn’s help has also been incredible for my depression and general low mood.

First started seeing Dawn following major family issues and being diagnosed with depression to the point of being almost suicidal. My GP referred me to their in house counsellor but I couldn’t open up. A friend recommended Dawn and right from the first session I felt at ease and even opened up slightly to her. Our sessions just got better and better and within a few weeks I was off the anti depressants.
I wouldn’t hesitate on returning to this lady in the future if I felt in need of further counselling and have recommended her to several people who I know have been helped tremendously by her.
