Edit to add: after waiting for weeks for another appointment after they made a mistake, I attended my appointment. It has now been almost 7 weeks and I’ve heard nothing about my next appointment.

I was midway through a reassessment and I recently missed an appointment because I’d made a mistake and entered it on the wrong day in my diary. The appointment was supposed to be on a Friday so I rang them on the Monday to apologise and ask for a new appointment to be sent out. I spoke to a man who assured me he would pass the message on.
I waited and received a ‘sorry you did not attend’ letter, but did nothing because I had already rang them up.
I eventually rang them to query the status of my new appointment to be told that I had been discharged because I hadn’t replied to the letter.
I complained and asked that they look into it in the hopes they would reverse the decision because I HAD phoned them very soon after the missed appointment.
I waited and again heard nothing back for a while, so I rang again and it was the same man who didn’t bother to pass on my message before, and he told me that I had definitely been discharged and that was that, I had to call the access team to be re-referred. He put me on hold to transfer me to the access team and the call terminated.
When I rang back a woman answered this time and she reiterated what the man had said and did the transfer.
I waited on hold for around 40 minutes then gave up.
I lodged a complaint with pals and received an email response from them today that just went along with what the people at St Michaels had told them as though I’m a liar.
I have since replied with a screenshot of the call record for the day that I rang which they have told pals there is no message logged.
I have asked for them to reply in kind, with a record of the call they supposedly made to me (which won’t exist of course)
My CPN also stated that she had tried to ring me when I have no unaccounted calls and no answerphone messages for.
This has been a dangerous pattern over the years for mental health services, one that has no issue gaslighting its patients to cover themselves.
It’s always the patients fault though isn’t it, I mean why would anyone believe us?
I’m genuinely disgusted at how I’ve been let down again, because it’s hard for me to engage but I was really hopeful I would get somewhere this time.

I rang the access number pals provided and it went to an answer machine, I then got a call back from a London number for a private health company saying they’d missed my calls.
So I have no number to call for self referral now.

Really disappointed with the way I’ve been treated by this service. I was misdiagnosed back in August. In December last year I had my first appointment with dr greening. I had a second appointment in January of this year where she said that she thinks
I have adhd and I was a bit upset because I know how long the wait time is for an assessment, however she told me she could diagnose but she needs evidence first. Fast forward to 19th January she has gone against what she said and sent a referral to my doctors asking for them to refer my for an assessment. I feel like I’ve wasted months of my time because they set me work that didn’t cater to my needs and now im going to be waiting years for a diagnosis after being told they could do it. After requesting for this doctor to call me back on more than one occasion I have still heard nothing back and had no explanation to what is going on. I am
Now going to be making a full complaint to pals due to their incompetence yet again.
