Katie provided a comfortable environment for my teenage daughter's assessment and put her at ease throughout the appointment.
The report was received on time and to an incredibly high standard of detail. The recommendations have been vital in making sure my daughter receives additional help at High School, which isn't always readily available. This is invaluable as she approaches her GCSEs . Based on Katie's recommendation of additional time in her exams this has also now been agreed by the exam boards.
I would highly recommend Katie's service, it really has improved my daughter's learning journey.

Our experience working with Katie has been brilliant. She and her assistant communicated everything very clearly to us so I wasn't anxious at all. My son was comfortable and at ease during his assessment and the report Katie produced was incredibly detailed, concrete, encouraging and informative. She spelled out each part of the assessment, and translated his 'results' into plain English so I could understand the importance of how he had responded. All in all I feel like she 'saw' our son while remaining clear headed and fair. Most importantly to me, Katie took the time to mention the kinds of emotional impacts that would be experienced during the process of trying to do the assessment and in the kinds of tasks set for him in a 'normal' classroom (such as stress and frustration). Thank you so much. You are the first professional who “saw” my child. It is clear that you have considered the extensive history & reports but still taken a holistic view of them. Your report really reflects the child I know & love.

After the assessment, I was expecting some excellent recommendations from you but was worried (but somewhat resigned) that the amount of adaptations & direct teaching that I have put in place for them would mask their dyslexia & they would not get their diagnosis.

Everything you have written about their spiky profile makes complete sense to me. It was so helpful to see their test scores laid out & explained so clearly.
