In September 2024 I underwent Peroneal tendon repair surgery on my foot and wanted to ensure the best recovery possible. I was required to wear an orthopaedic boot for 6 weeks following the operation following which I booked 12 sessions with Sharp Physio in Bawtry (where I live) to assist with my recovery. The hospital provided my records to Sam Tompkins, my assigned physiotherapist, in order for him to develop a tailored treatment plan. Sam took time to understand my objectives and aims with respect my recovery. He clearly explained how the treatment program would progress and the purpose of the techniques he applied. I was also provided with daily exercise instructions to perform at home along with advice on regular self-treatment with ice packs. My ankle was swollen and sore but soon responded to Sam's treatment to improve blood flow and rotational capability whilst reducing swelling and improving strength. Whilst some of the sessions were challenging for me, I took reassurance in Sam's advice and guidance. His manner was professional, friendly and supportive throughout. At the conclusion of my treatment, the improvements and progress achieved far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Sharp Physio and Sam without hesitation for anyone seeking superb treatment! I also need to mention and thank Laura for rescheduling some appointments, the admin was superb and very helpful.

Can't speak highly enough of Sam Kirton, my son suffered a torn cartilage in his knee from a football injury. We didn't know what had original happened and managed to get in to see Sam, after his help my son had surgery then spent months having rehabilitation with Sam. The care and professionalism Sam showed was outstanding and would recommend him 100%
My son is now back playing after 9 months out and a lot of that is down to Sam and the service the team offer and the connections they have. Can't thank him enough.

Ben was incredibly helpful in treating my on-going hip and lower back issue. He was attentive when listening to my symptoms and his explanation of what was causing the issue reassured me that I could recover and get back to my old self.

Each round of treatment felt like it made an immediate difference, then we talked about adjustments to my everyday movement patterns that could help long term.

I felt immediate relief after the 1st session, and returned to maintain the improvement of symptoms. Really great value for money, lovely practice, and all round welcoming environment.

You will always get a "Warm Welcome" from Laura & Becky when you arrive, and the experience provided by the team in the consultation rooms is personable, professionally and friendly. I can't thank Sam Kirton enough for the work that he does to keep me out refereeing week in week out. Shannon is also a master at finding those hidden issues that I have in my legs and sorting them out. Regardless of who works on my legs, they always give me a spring in my step when I leave. Shannon has without doubt made my life much easier. She’s patient and very knowledgeable in her field. She managed my expectations perfectly was a great help with comprehensive notes to my GP which has undoubtedly got me to next stage. She’s also a very nice lady 😊. The practice were also very good at keeping me undated with next appointments and all are very friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.
