Purple Parenting have been nothing short of a godsend to us in recent months. From the very first contact with Sarah to explain our predicament, I was impressed by her warm, practical and common-sense approach to helping us sort out our daughter’s sleep patterns, and she quickly identified several areas where we could take action.

Purple Parenting had been recommended to me by a close friend and it didn’t take much to see why. After having an initial consultation with Sarah over the phone (for well over an hour) we decided to go for the two week telephone consultation package. In the report that Sarah sent us, it was clear that she had an excellent grasp, not just on my daughter’s sleep issues, but on the dynamics within the wider family. Throughout the entire process, Sarah has sought to take a whole systems approach, and helped us to assess the impact of our actions on our other children and on our lifestyle.

Having decided together on the right sleep plan for our daughter, the support that Sarah provided in helping us to implement it was second to none. She was incredibly responsive, by phone and text. We had conversations both as early as 8am and as late as 9pm! We knew that we could rely on her, which made a huge different to our confidence in taking the sleep plan forward.

Although we paid, in the end, for three weeks telephone support, Sarah was still supporting our family 8 weeks down the line! When illness affected our ability to move the sleep plan forward, Sarah insisted that we spread out our contact with her, so that we could get the optimum support when we needed it. In doing that, we gained the confidence to weather the storms, and work out exactly how to manage sleep disruptions when things don’t go according to plan.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that our lives have been transformed by the support that we’ve received from Sarah. The sleep plan that she recommended has worked, and it was absolutely the right one for our family and for our particular circumstances. Things are not perfect - we are still working on a complete withdrawal from the room! - but the most important thing is that we now understand and can respond to our daughter’s sleep pattern confidently and knowledgeably. And we know, too, that - should we ever need support with any other aspect of parenting - there would be no question of who to contact. Purple Parenting all the way!

I have only positive things to say about Michelle. She was so easy to talk to and everything she suggested felt like it would work for my family. I was having trouble for a year with my two and half year old boys hitting. Michelle gave me simple ideas to try and thankfully they worked.
