Wonderful countryside building run by unlicensed unknowledgeable unskilled unqualified professionals. Mental health therapy is a must and NHS England should really look into the this establishment as they're keeping there, literally imprisoning, people with high social qualities, intelligence and big hearts and they do not receive a help or support NHS is paying for them. No proper internet or mobile phone connection, no designated smoking areas, leave with warden, activity and therapy rooms or computer room not accessible for patients. Room designated for a charging the phones and basic hygiene things and tools are held as restricted items in storage boxes room. People mus eat only in certain times. Orange is a new Black style !!!

Following a burst of bad experiences I was admitted to the priory, first to keystone then to upper court
I found the staff to be respectful and helpful, approachable and professional, in terms of the general accommodation, my 5-week stay during the summer of 2024 was only marred by the incredibly uncomfortable bed in upper court
My treatment for depression involved a weekly ward round visit with Dr. Marcus, which I found very helpful, not only did he listen to me at the depth of my depression, but what we spoke about other matters and aspects of my life and he helped me find positivity in the future. It would be wrong of me to single out individual members of staff and name them on a Google review but I don't have anything negative to say about anybody. And the occupational therapy team were brilliant, sometimes a medium length walk in the sunshine with someone to chat to is as good at a therapy as anything else
The other patients in the facility have different levels of problems and sometimes just chatting to people with different views on life is actually part of your therapy, certainly my case. I found this quite valuable
The positivity of most of the team is uplifting, I have always been a forward-looking positive person before this breakdown and looking back upon it, I feel that my visit to the priory helped me get over my problems Subjectively and in a way that will help me identify any recurrence before it becomes a problem

Now i know I'll never be forced to return i can be more honest.... they took hygiene products.... and refused to return them! Never was told where to get a drink so was dehydrated! Staff don't wear uniforms and honestly act like they are doing you a favor! Its been 2 years since i left and i still have nightmares of random (patients) people walking in my room and can still hear the banging! Food isn't suitable for someone with sensory issues.... let alone a dog

I was lucky that all NHS mental health hospitals had no availability. I was in Priory Ticehurst for over 4 weeks. I feel that everything was above my expectations. The staff are friendly and helpful. Every staff member apart from a couple seemed really caring. I feel Michelle,Peter OK, Craig,Nick, Sara Alex, Barry Dennis are the HCA'S from UpperCourt were the one's that I had the most dealings with and they all delivered.
Michelle is like a superwoman she is extremely busy all the time. She is so good and energetic.
Peter OK, is a nurse who is also determined to get thing's done.
DR Hansjee and Dr Raquel are also brilliant.
The therapy groups supplied are very helpful and Megan and Rachel are lovely and friendly.
The O.T team are also fantastic.
Food is amazing!
Keystone staff are extremely helpful, caring and compassionate.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff!
My stay here has completely helped me with my Recovery.

Very unprofessional..felt belittled and unimportant when he took a phone call about his car during my assessment. It's a big deal to get yourself mentally prepared..and at a cost of £360 for the hr. Simply not good enough

Our family member was transferred to this facility, the persons stay way was for around two weeks there about.

The person was eventually let out of the premises into the local community and allowed x amount of time off site too

Now as parent's it was the family member informing us about they was coming home on a weekend, anyhow to cut a long story short they returned the family member back on the midweek.

No notification and planning or care plan has been discussed with us for the family member, no follow up with the family member to see if they are OK, nothing dumped off and feel like expected for the individual just to get on with life and just feels like a statistic, the same with the NHS too no plan has been discussed or any guidelines or guidance given or information on whom to contact for support nothing whatsoever ever.

Sadly the place was supposed to of returned a telephone call they didn't telephone as promised,

If your the manager and directors of Ticehurst and NHS please leave a direct telephone contact number and email address too and we will be in touch to discuss our family members safeguarding in detail and this conversation further.

An email has also been sent to Andrew wilcocks no reply at the moment

Thank you

Well what can I say, this hospital is just outstanding for the care and support they show to their patients.
My son was here for a few weeks and we cannot thank them enough for the kindness they shown him.
They kept me updated on his progress all the way through his stay. The doctors are marvellous and so supportive of not only the patient but the family too.
Thank you to every single person who helped take care of my son you are all just amazing💙❤
