The Pink Triangle Memorial Park is a small memorial park in the Castro. It has succulents, roses, and other flowers. It is wholly maintained by donations and volunteer labor.

I didn’t realize how tiny the park was, and wedged between roads. I wouldn’t call it peaceful for that reason, but it’s important to have such memorials.

After seeing the park, which takes only a few minutes, you can continue to explore and walk through the gay district.

Pink Triangle Memorial park is dedicated to the LGBT victims persecuted in Fascist Europe between 1933-1945. It is a peaceful, colorful park full of flowers, a series of granite posts topped with pink triangles and a pink triangle on the ground full of rose quartz stones--you are welcome take one as a remembrance. Well worth a 10 minute visit.

Fantastic little Memorial in downtown San Francisco that memorializes the Gay Men that were brutalized and killed during the Holocaust. It's a powerful reminder. Go visit it if you can!

Such a beautiful memorial, a very special place and such an amazing idea! The rose quartz triangle is incredible to see, and from what I've heard, they encourage you to take a stone with you so we are all connected and united! Powerful!! My hubby and I donate to the org that funds this place and I hope you can do the same!

The park is a beautiful monument to LGBT history. The flowers are beautiful. They need to refill the rose quartz installation, though. It was also difficult to access, since it’s in the middle of a busy intersection. I highly recommend visiting this park at least once, just be careful when getting there.
