Emma is incredible. I've been seeing Emma on and off for over 5 years and I know I will keep coming back to her for the rest of my life (as I hit more bumps in the road). I first started seeing Emma last summer, my initial reason for seeking therapy was due to the loss of a very close friend to cancer but also the feeling that I felt very lost, lonely, confused and riddled with guilt and insecurity. I knew after my first initial consultation with Emma that I would find our relationship well suited. Emma was gentle and slow in the process of helping me repair. The overwhelming feeling of not being being judged and for first the first time in 47 years being able to be my true self and discuss everything that I needed with Emma has changed me as a person. I have nothing but praise for the amazing Psychotherapist Emma is.
Initially, I contacted Emma after experiencing a tragic loss of both parents in the car crash.
At the time my world has ended, I wasn't able to come to terms with the trauma I experienced through the loss of two people who meant the world to me..
I seeked Emma's help and with her support, gentle guidance, thoughtful advice and tremendous amount of strength she managed to provide me with,I gently managed to see things in a more positive light and I started enjoying life again...This wasn't an overnight process, it took some time,but after each session I noticed myself getting better slowly. Emma took me from a dark and desperate place and showed me how to rationalise my anxieties along with breaking down my past and how it had led to my current behaviour patterns. Not only was she a life saver but she also provided me with tools that I have used moving forward to help me soothe my tendency to self destruct and my overwhelming anxiety.
