Dire service,no support at all despite my gp trying everything mh don’t give a monkeys make own judgement from past notes not a care in the world about hear and now or understand things change, had a loss so easy to blame that pals fob you off the chief executive backs professionals up,not truthful in waiting times for therapy in complaint letters drs referrals ignored, consultants issue meds without seeing you or advise gp again dr tried advice makes me poorly yet they continue to want to go back to something that does not work, won’t issue a med that other professionals say I need and blame me saying obsessed with diagnosis and meds when it’s other professionals stated it’s what I need, lied about assesments in A and E,one re said come back when am hypermanic can’t turn it on and off,was attacked years ago getting no help with that, tried to seek other help and been told am a risk mh don’t know that yet,18 months to 2 years for therapy they don’t state that in complaints because it makes them look bad despite in emails stated, people have raised concerns and been ignored,I am getting support from my gp but again concerns raised need higher intervention, another letter been done to services till I am seen, past was promised alsorts never happend and been told to pay private can’t afford it don’t really have faith in them or trust them

Found a report had been written about me which stigmatised the fact that I have campaigned locally for the Green Party. Awful. Do not trust this service, they are weird, vile neo-McCarthyists....Basically I got arrested by GMP after - like many women, it is emerging, thanks to Vera Baird's report - I formally complained about an officer.... the local NHS team that conducted the 'assessment' into my mental health during custody of 17 hours, away from my 5 year old girl, totally backed up the corrupt police. Should be ashamed of themselves and out of their roles.

Excellent care at Arden Ward Stepping Hill
Cannot praise the entire staff highly enough ,they are a superb compassionate caring skilled and expert team working hard for all patients.
What started as a very scary experience became very rapidly a great healing process.
The ward is modern and well looked after, constant cleaning, nice comfy chairs, great occupational therapy classes available each weekday, food is delivered cipus with home made soups and desserts and a choice of food daily.
The nursing staff in their entirety including the night staff work extremely hard to support and encourage patients ,they're very skilled at encouraging healthy choices to assist healing.
Nice touches like the 9 pm toast makes it surprisingly homely
Don't be afraid if you have to stay-at-home the staff will care for you so well with dedication and enthusiasm.

Palliative Care Team Bury a disgrace. My partner 2017 seen by them and given morphine in a bottle by GP, it was on their recommendation. She got morphine and took whole bottle. They did no risk assessment and was in a coma and died.My partner had history of depression but no risk assessment...They are a disgrace as my partner died shortly after their intervention.Legally they were found to without fault. They however morally and one particular nurse in particular are amoral. They carry on and lack compassion in court.I and my family will never forgive them and a nurse with an unfortunate name who came into our lives and produced a volcano that ended my.partners life and caused me unbearable pain and suffering.
These people care about themselves and not the people they serve.
I ask carers and patients to be vigilant in dealing with these people.
They rushed to give out morphine like it was Mars bars.Other areas of country do have safeguards but not in Bury.
Please be careful!!!
They have been unsympathetic throughout and refused to meet with me and my Member of Parliament. They think it right to come into your life and kill off your partner without risk assessment. They have ruined my deceased partners life and attempted to ruin mine by their negligence.
Goliath carries on crushing the small man, person but hopefully social media etc can provide a warning to others. They came into our life and caused mayhem and untold misery. All they needed to do was carry out risk assessment and see that their morphine was totally unsuited and dangerous to my deceased partner. The arrogant horrible nurse who prescribed the morphine is a disgrace. She has no remorse so people of Bury please be careful if Palliative Care opinion is asked for.We were getting on okay with cardiac nurses and then they asked for Palliative Care opinion.Within a week of their intervention my partner was in a coma after they gave out morphine like smarties.
Nasty horrible people.
They have replied after nearly two years. They have lame reason that the horrible palliative care team are now under another trust. They were the horrible people who whitewashed their organisation when I complained. They refused to meet with me and the horrible nurse who effectively killed off my then fiancee is free to carry on in her dangerous way.
I will not withdraw my review as this organisation is so much to blame and cared not one jot about me.Even though I have over three years of service to them.
So the review stays and they have not ever changed or apologised to me for finishing off my fiancee by employing a dangerous non compassionate nurse.

I have been supported by Healthy minds for sometime. Once allocated counselling/support their skill and assistance is very good and really helpful.
However access is extremely poor. I have been prompted to write this review in frustration at ringing, on 3 occasions, to return a call to Janet Brown. On each occasion I have rung at 445 and been in a queue. Then twice counted down to ‘first in the queue’ and once cut off and rang back to join the queue again.
On each occasion I have waited until 5pm then rung again to be told the office is now closed. It’s clear someone is not answering / leaving early regularly. Justchange the advertised close time if this is an acceptable arrangement? You can’t be first in the queue twice for 10 mins when calls in front of you appear to take only a few.

Somehow my last review has disappeared. My partner has been refused help despite GPs trying so hard to get my partner the psychiatrist help my partner needs. These people are useless A waste of space and my partner is left feeling that these people dont want to help tameside Mental Health have probably caused more problems than they have helped

I have just been discharged from Stepping Hill Hospital. I was admitted on Dec 4 th. My experience was very good. I was on Norbury ward part of the pyschiatric dept. I cannot thank the staff enough. They were brilliant. The food was A! too. Thankyou everyone for making my stay so enjoyable.
