Can never get through to right department and when they do put you through they don’t pick up!
Awaiting some medical evidence that the family courts wanted in regards to my son’s health! It’s been 4 weeks and the deadline has been and gone!

Alice has been fantastic! She has made herself available to speak to me when I’ve been concerned, outside of my daughters appointment times and I feel that the support she has provided to my daughter has really been making a difference.
The only downside has been the limited number of sessions that my daughter has been allowed but I believe this to be down to nhs funding constraints rather than CAMHS themselves.
A massive thank you to Alice, you’ve really made a difference to our family!

This organisation has offered us nothing more than abysmal service with an atrocious lack of communication. My daughter was very badly let down by this service, in particular by her clinician (Laura Airey).

CAMHS have taken no responsibility for their actions and feel it suitable to brush their faults aside, leaving our family further distraught. Having spoken with their manager Dr Claire Pearson, I feel even more that they are shielding their questionably inept staff and diabolical service behind a curtain of deceit and apathy. Their attitude towards any wrongdoing is to deny and discard any complaints.

Families should be supported by this service, not made to feel distressed further by having their concerns dismissed. I would advise families to avoid CAMHS at all costs and enrol the assistance of MAST instead. MAST have been wonderful and the complete opposite of CAMHS, who have been unreliable, unavailable, uncommunicative and unprofessional. After several conversations with Jane Riley and Claire Pearson, we are no closer to receiving a written apology. In fact, they flatly refused to put anything in writing, clearly because they didn't want to implicate themselves!
A formal complaint resulted in nothing more than Claire Pearson haughtily dismissing any concerns, which has only served to further highlight their abhorrently low standards. To say I am appalled and disgusted by their complete lack of remorse would not come close. The fact they they are a mental health service only deepens my concern towards their practice and practises. Their negligence is dangerous and detrimental.
I have engaged the service of my solicitor today and will be undertaking litigation imminently.
This must never happen to another family.
