Our tour guide, Nick, was very friendly, informative and a great story teller. While it wasn’t scary, he shared a lot of history and my friends and I really enjoyed it. He was also super helpful and walked us over to where we could take the bus back to our hotel.

The tour was so fun. We had a small group which was amazing. Eric the guide was well informed, an engaging storyteller, and a great historian. It was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to any of my friends and family. The only warning I would give them is the tour ended 25 minutes walk from where it started and where we were parked. Because we didn’t book the extended tour we had to walk through Detroit in the dark on our own, just the two of us. Which for two women from Canada was a little shocking and we were surprised. Next time I would only go with a larger group if I was doing it in an unfamiliar neighbourhood or another country.

This felt like a lot more of a history tour with some ghosts sprinkled in but it was still very interesting to learn the history of every single stop. I definitely thought it was worth the money! We took the extended tour and saw the CREEPIEST abandoned funeral home. Definitely worth the cost of adding on the extra locations. Honestly made the whole tour even more worth it.

Our tour guide Michael was a gem!!! He was lively, knew exactly what he was talking about, and seemed genuinely excited to be taking us on this tour. He even went above and beyond and helped us get to the restaurant we pick to eat afterwards as well as made sure we got there safe.

Expected the night to go awry but it didn’t! Seth (I hope I got that right), our guide, was great. It was pouring rain, cold, and windy; a night you’d deem miserable. By the end, the group of approximately 15 dwindled to 4 and our wonderful guide, all sopping wet. The tour was full of Detroit History for the more macabre audiences and our guide was very knowledgeable with the darker history of the buildings we toured by. For what could have been a god awful night, turned out to be a memorable one.
