As the Registered Manager of a four bed Residential Children's Home, it is clear to me, not only have we as a service benefited from the input of Meadows Psychology but most importantly the children in our care have benefited significantly. The team from Meadows met with our management team to discuss the needs of our children and really listened to our challenges. After completing psychological assessments, they offered direct therapy work along with comprehensive reports on each child. We have seen a vast improvement in the children, as well as our team's confidence in meeting their needs.

Meadows support our children and staff team, they go above and beyond to provide therapeutic support and disseminate their knowledge throughout the staff team. Our therapist is on hand to advise us on how best to support incidents and behaviours inline with therapeutic care plans, she is always looking to develop the staff knowledge and skills and has the children's best interests at the forefront of her practice.

As a supported accommodation provider (16-18), registering with ofsted successfully and ensuring that our staff have the right knowledge and skills to not only deliver the standards but support our young people to the highest level has been our key focus over the last 12 months. Meadows Psychology Service have been an integral part of supporting us through this registration process and beyond. The package of trauma informed training delivered to our support team has elevated their knowledge and given them an understanding of ACEs and how they can support our young people more effectively. The team at Meadows Psychology Service were extremely well informed on our sector and the challenges we currently face, as well as demonstrating expert knowledge in their own field. We would certainly recommend them to any supported accommodation providers going through this process.

Emily has gone above and beyond and continues to do so. We have been having a difficult time with one of our pupils who is really struggling. Emily has been great. She has been supportive, there to listen and has given us lots of great advice. Emily has spent a lot of time and effort helping us make the environment, curriculum, activities and expectations suitable for the particular pupil including risk assessments, classroom set up, recommendations, observations and suggested activities that will help to meet her needs earlier and continually. Would highly recommend Meadows Psychology Service. Our school has recently increased from 2 days to 3 days per week and there is such a positive impact. All of the therapists and people we come into contact with from Meadows Psychology service are fantastic! 🙂

We, my husband and I, came to work with Meadows Psychology through our adoption support service. We had been having a number of challenges with our son and felt we were struggling to understand and meet his needs at times. The team were extremely warm and professional, they really took the time to get to know us as a family and as individuals, which put us at ease. The direct work with our son really helped him to open up and helped us understand some of the thoughts and feelings he had been struggling with. The consultations, training and crisis support offered to us as parents has been crucial in helping us better understand our sons needs and meet these accordingly. We would wholeheartedly recommend this service to anyone else who is struggling with their child, you won't regret it.

Our MPS Consultant is really supportive of staff especially following very difficult situations that arise in this field of work. All students that have sessions with our MPS Consultant do appear to be coping much better, we have seen a significant change.
