My first time at Manchester Pride this year and I’m honestly so disappointed.

Firstly the ticket price was ridiculous priced at £35 just to enter the grounds, if you wanted to go to the events after you had to buy an extra ticket which ranged in prices.

Secondly, the price of drinks was absolutely ridiculous £8 for a watering mini cup of slush cocktail and £3 for a mini cup of sofa. Food was just as badly priced as the drinks, £8.50 for a hotdog or £7.50 for a cheese burger. No thanks!

& lastly, there wasn’t really a diverse range of music is was all caters to pop/dance. There was no urban music playing for people who love RnB, reggae etc.

However the parade was good but standing for nearly 3 hours wasn’t so great especially in the heat with thousands of people crammed together at once.

I’ve experienced it once and that’s enough got me, I won’t be returning next year.

2017 my third pride. Seems a lot busier every year and I think they should try to make the outside arenas larger. People who plan to watch acts were turned away because there was no room. Very disappointing. We still had a great weekend and the everyone's friendly. Straight or LGBTQ all welcome. Police did a great job. Well done everyone👍👍❤

Very poorly organised event only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured. Cannot access the main stage after arriving in good time so a complete waste of money first time I have paid for an event and not been able to get in. The organisers do not respond to any messages. Save your money that's my advice.

I should not have to wait for a pride parade whilst using the Metrolink. You should not be stopping public transport.

I went here for the 1st time with my severely disabled daughter and we will be going again next year. As my daughter is in a wheelchair the people were so helpful and also the security were so helpful. I would highly recommend this event to disabled people and their carers. Sigala were amazing too

Pride is always a weekend of fun. It's better to take advantage of the unusual nights they have on instead of sticking to the normal bars. Either way you'll have fun. +1 for being able to drink outside
