Low key, very friendly, good veggie food, chilled security, small enough to walk across site in 10 minutes..My fave sound system was MASH101, but had good times in all tents/stages at various times. No glass allowed, worth knowing if you plan to take wine etc...

Magical festival has definitely been a highlight of my year! It felt like a beautiful dream! People were walking around smiling to themselves! The organisers are great at what they do and so nice! All the staff were like friends by the end of night one. All the people there were lovely and fun! Can't wait to go back and see these people, make even more friends and enjoy everything Magical has to offer.

You always know when you find something special, and special is definitely what Magical Festival is. If you like small festivals, with space to walk and dance, with a core group of fabulous people who love life and want to express that love with others, then this is the festival for you. Set in the gorgeous Borde Hill gardens, the curators hand-pick bands and artists from a broad spectrum of genres, so there is always something on you'll like. There are tea tents, bars, kids marquees, healing areas, veggie food stalls and heaps of area for camping, as well as a wicked woodland area for some late night (or early morning) dancing. I would highly recommended you attend if you get the chance!

The second year of what really amounts to a fabulous wedding party that just comes back for more.
They have an ambitious amount of activities and a staf with the leadt officious can-do attitude.
As a musician I felt cateted to and supported, and the ancilary infrastructure was actually much better quality than some longer established feztivals.
The toilet blocks did not reek of chemicals and the food was really rather good.
Family friendly with many actovities to suit young and old, brilliant musical acts (other than me!) I truly hope that this celebration of love and music goes from strength to strength for many years to come.
