I had a nurse who told me I hadn't been in touch for a year so stopped seeing me, when I explained that I had left numerous messages, I was dismissed and basically called a lyer. I was ment to have home visits every week or two but that's a joke, Last time I spoke to them I told them I had self harmed, I was that they'll ring on Monday that was three months ago. It is making worse not healing ne

Awful service. How they're in charge of looking after extremely vulnerable & unwell people is beyond me. They don't even listen to you & make up a pack of lies in the care plan. Something seriously needs to be done about this place.

UPDATE:
Its been three and a half years now, the only contact ive had from them is them saying they need to update my assessment as its been so long, i asked how much longer ill be waiting and they just said they don’t know. I asked them to just discharge me. Im now paying privately for therapy as i cant wait any longer.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
I got referred here from the wellbeing service as they said they couldn’t provide the treatment I needed. Since the referral I’ve been on a waiting list for therapy for two years now. Yes they’ve given me medication, BUT I NEED THERAPY. Appointments are cancelled all the time, and if you want to reschedule an appointment you’re on hold for an hour and a half. They always tell you they’ll call you back, they never do. When you ring and ask how much longer you’ll be waiting for therapy they just tell you that ‘there are people that are above you and worse than you’ despite never actually asking how you’re feeling or if you are in crisis. People are always telling you that support is available and you shouldn’t suffer in silence, realistically the support is not there, people are given false hope. Change needs to be made immediately.

Waited 2 years for an adhd assessment via hospital. Was transferred here after diagnosis and giving a prescription which should have been titrated over time. It wasn’t. The doctors here give constant promises as to changing medications and dosage but don’t do anything. I really recommend everybody struggling and let down with the hospital to make a report to NHS trust which they have to investigate and provide an outcome. These cannot be ignored.

On a side note I am supposed to have weight, heart rate and blood pressure checks as well as an ECG every 6 months. I’ve been on my medication 2 years now and not had a single check.

I really feel for anyone that’s forced to deal with this place.

Made us wait over 6 months for a manger to get in contact about the cpn worker being off after getting the receptionist to send the emails and a message in teams chat on what was going to happen to my partners care. They left her with no care 6 months ago and still have no care for her.
Even went through palys got nowhere.

This place should be looked at by the NHS for not providing proper care in a reasonable timeframe.

Failing that shut it down and rebuild it/hire actual staff that give dam about patients and to higher standard that a secondary mental health building should be overall.

In 2020 I was discharged, because the Doctor I was seeing had left. In 2021 my Doctor's made a referral, I was told by Lyme Brook it will be up to 3 years for an appointment. It's now 2023 and I'm being told that a referral was never made by my Doctor's even though it was. I have an appointment at my Doctor's to make a referral, current waiting times for Lyme Brook are 3+ years.

4+ years I've been taking ADHD medication and in 3 weeks from now, my medication runs out.

Lyme Brook is run by clowns.

I really wish Google would allow people to leave zero (0) stars as a review, because one (1) star is far too generous for the clowns of Lyme Brook.

Terrible service, no duty of care/safeguarding anymore from what I've experienced, waited three days to talk with duty professional... They are purposely now ignoring long term service user, trying to make them come off of medication and suggesting going to groups instead or they are now just simply referring people to Social Care and telling them they will have to pay for support. Disgusting way to treat people in crisis suffering with mental health issues, people should get together and protest outside the center and get in touch with local TV news reporters and the Sentinel so the whole country knows what they are doing or rather, NOT DOING !!!

If you wish to be stable in life and live productively do not use this service. They do not treat service users as a priority.
You will be issued a psychiatrist and all appointments will be video call, it won't be face-to-face, even though it has been a year since covid. The video call appointment will be vague, it won't be analytic to your disorder, more like asking about the weather so little to no interest as to how stable you are.
The psychiatrist that I have always asks questions about my child which, I do not have a child. Which leads me to believe there is a data breach there or there's a high possibility that my details aren't being read beforehand.
One thing that the Lymebrook Centre are consistent with is not fulfilling what is discussed in your appointment for example a medication increase. You will be told that the increase will be sent to your registered GP within the week. When you go to your GP for the prescription you will find that the psychiatrists 'receptionist' hasn't bothered to send it off in the first place. So, basically you will wait anywhere to 1-2 months for what was promised. For what your mental health depends on so you will be left to not trust the people that work there.
You will be told that if you need help to ring the surgery whenever to get support and that is not true you ring the reception and nobody will answer in actual fact after waiting for 5 minutes the call will automatically end. Previously I have tried to get in contact with the surgery from Monday - Friday and could not get a hold of anybody.
This past year the centre has been in the sentinel to my knowledge three times with suicides and the centres response has always been "this person never expressed suicidal thoughts" they are just trying to save there backs. I'm sure the death rate whilst being a user is much higher.
I'm done with excuses for the mental health services. It isn't a service it is a made up dream that the government are portraying to "help" vulnerable people. Apparently the service to help with mental health is underfunded? Is it funded at all I question? It is a nonexistent service.
To close this review, my view on this place and the workers is poor. It is a shoddy place that needs help.
Basically, my mental health has gotten worse since being a service user of there's.
