My at experience at linwood was very beneficial to my life i was lucky enough to have phoebe as my therapist, i have seen lots of different mental health workers over the years and she had had the biggest impact on me mentally with helping me understanding myself. She made time for me whenever i needed and gave me a really strong sense of a warm presence and true passion for her job. Also, India in senior support went out her way many times to help me when i was really struggling mentally and unable to function properly she is also really caring and very good/passionate at her job. As a person who really struggles trusting people i genuinely really trusted phoebe and India because they made me feel really cared about. All the day staff and night staff at linwood are very nice and friendly people.

Linwood House was a fantastic clinic. Therapists were very knowledgeable, caring and friendly. Without them none of the clients would be where they are now. The food was great, the cleanliness was spot on and I truly felt at home among my peers. I would recommend Linwood House to any one who is searching for a rehabilitation clinic.

My stay at Linwood was amazing from start to finish. I was given a very warm welcome by the amazing support staff witch help me settle in straight away. During my 12 week stay the support I received from my therapist Phoebe was nothing short of amazing. I was particularly impressed with my therapist Phoebe’s dedication and empathetic approach witch made it so easy for me to put my trust in her.

Also want to give a special mention to all the support staff led by India, they were there for you 24-7 and would go above and beyond to help you with anything.

The accommodation was great. The room was clean and comfortable with en-suite facility’s, the rest of the facility’s was better than I expected very spacious and clean with a great big garden and also a well-equipped gym.

The cleaning staff were there 7 days a week and very helpful nothing was too much to ask of them. Also want to mention the kitchen staff that were very attentive to your needs providing different options for all dietary requirements.

Would also like to put in a special mention to Kirsty the manager she is exceptional at her job and is always there for anyone very welcoming and approachable.

So thank you Linwood for helping me on my journey I have learned so much about me and how to carry on my journey into recovery. The time I spent there was invaluable.

I would recommend Linwood house to anyone struggling with addiction issue.

My experience at Linwood has been a true experience. There has been ups and downs but life is like that. I have been made to feel normal and continue to feel normal once again. I have realised there is a future beyond my addiction and I never thought I would say that.

Phoebe, Kirsty and India have been my biggest supporters for the last 6 months, I cant thank them enough.

I was pieced back together at Linwood house after arriving totally broken. When I was being admitted I was treated with the utmost care and respect from the support staff all of whom were brilliant throughout my rehabilitation.
My therapist Phoebe was nothing short of a miracle worker incredibly empathetic and insightful and I learned so much about myself because of her going above and beyond to ensure I was as prepared as I could be to face the world again, I will be eternally grateful to her for everything she did for me.
Also therapists Julie and Maggie were invaluable in my recovery as well, they are an incredible trio whose knowledge, experience and dedication are inspiring.
Kirsty the manager is definitely in the right vocation she truly cares about the residents and staff and this filters down as well to the kitchen and cleaning teams.

I highly recommend Linwood House and the UKAT network! In January, I checked myself in for a 10-day detox following my first (and hopefully only) relapse for alcohol dependency. I was extremely scared upon arrival, but I was immediately made to feel so comfortable by the therapists, medical and support staff, and fellow clients. Everything from the medical oversight to one-on-one and group therapy sessions provided me with the tools I needed to stick to my recovery upon discharge. The facilities were clean and spacious, food was great, and the ensuite room was also very comfortable. Aftercare is provided with regular check-ins and group Zoom sessions available. If I had the time and resources, I absolutely would've stayed for a full month. Still, Linwood House gave me the kick-start I needed to continue with individual therapy and AA. Take advantage of the services provided during and after your treatment, take your time in Linwood and recovery seriously, and you will succeed! I'll be forever grateful for my experience there.

I had exceptional care and support at Linwood House. My therapist was Sherrie who was brilliant for me and really helped give me the tools and advice I needed to help me moving forwards with my sobriety. All the therapists were good but I felt very lucky to have got Sherrie. The management aren't great but the core staff are really supportive and care a great deal. Overall I had a very positive experience at Linwood and it has had a very positive influence on my life.

My experience at Linwood house is a very positive one. I was broken when I arrived and they put me back together. The therapist were excellent and had time for you outside of a 1-1. They treated me with respect and honesty. The support staff were amazing aswell. The cleaners were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble.
