I went to Flora's class and loved it!! I took my mum who is 88. She'd lost her confidence and stopped painting. Flora was so gentle and kind with her and at the end of the day my mum produced a fantastic piece of watercolour work. She was thrilled and now I think she will feel inspired to carry on!! The pace of the day was perfect and a lot of new techniques learnt I would definitely recommend Flora's classes. Excellent!!

I took Flora's Expressive Figure Painting class online and it was the most fun and informative drawing class I've taken. It had the perfect structure, pacing and content. She taught me how to explore techniques that I thought weren't accessible to me as a beginner. I've signed up for a second course with her and I can't wait to sign up for more.

Flora’s classes were interesting, well paced, loads of fun, supportive and interactive. I did the Hand and Feet workshops over zoom which I was curious to see how they’d work and Flora was super organised. We were all able to communicate/ask questions/share our work/ etc. Models were great. I totally recommend and look forward to my next session with Flora!

Flora is truly inspirational… I have completed a number of her art courses and learnt something new every time. It’s great to be encouraged to try new materials and techniques, even if things don’t work out quite as expected.

It’s is not just what ends up on paper, but the chance to clear your mind for a few hours…

If you are thinking of doing one of Flora’s classes, just book it - You won’t regret it!

Flora’s classes are the ones that always come back to no matter what. I’ve tried both her structured classes/workshops, as well as the less formal setting of the Art Club. I love having the space to try out my style and receive great feedback and encouragement on the Masterpiece (as she likes to call it) that I am working on. She’s not just a great art instructor but also a really lovely person who cares a lot 🙂

We booked Flora for a work social event for nearly 30 people and could not have been happier with the result - Flora took care of everything, all we had to do was bring our own alcohol. Flora provided everything including all the art supplies, thoughtful personalised gift bags, soft drinks, healthy snacks and chocolate treats. Her tuition was just the right amount of helpful guidance, she was on hand for anyone who wanted extra help and was prepared with lots of information we could read at our own pace and take home. There are many proud masterpieces on the desks in our office! thank you Flora!

I went to Flora's Abstract painting with acrylics workshop. This was such a brilliant and informative day. Flora was a great teacher and I was so happy with the piece I created under her guidance.

My first course with Flora was an introduction to water colour course. Flora is warm and encouraging and her teaching style of introducing some theory (e.g. of value, colour) , illustrating with a demo followed by exercises for us to try, plus time to paint a picture, really suited me. I had been useless at handling coIour and saw my confidence and skills develop. I went on to do the follow on course then joined her art club which was more open, less formal teaching. I have just completed a drawing class with Flora which I also enjoyed and learned a lot from. This had a similar teaching pattern to the water colour course. I think everyone in the class showed improvement in their skills. We learned about things like different drawing media, composition, form, perspective and negative space. If you're wondering whether to take the plunge I'd say, give it a go!
