My 2 year old daughter really enjoyed her forest school sessions at kinship in nature. Rosalyn and Karen were amazing forest school practitioners and made the sessions really enjoyable and relaxing for both parent and child. My daughter learnt so much through the sessions and learnt new skills such as lighting up a fire, making bracelets and more. We are also really grateful for the assisted bursary to help those on low incomes, and for allowing us to participate. Highly recommend 🙂

Kinship is an incredible oasis of east London. I can’t recommend it enough, for an escape into nature and an immersion into connection, community and joy! I’ve just begun my Level 3 Forest School training here, and k.i.n offers a truly unique experience for adults wanting to learn in the outdoors! (And kids too!)

Beautiful setting at KIN's dite for the Natural Musicians and Storytelling course with Chris Holland. The course empowered us to tell our own stories and make beautiful music. *

Our son loved Forest School. He had the opportunity to learn how to do dangerous things safely and he would look forward to it every week. A great experience.

Our 5yr old absolutely loves the forest camp. She was nervous on the first day but came out telling us she’d made lots of new friends and couldn’t wait to go back the next day. She loved the songs and the community aspect too. Will definitely book again

My little girl and I had a wonderful time in the forest, learning about animal prints and plants, and sharing songs and snacks with a genuinely warm and welcoming group of people. My daughter loved learning how to chop wood and build a campfire - pretty impressive for a two year old! A lovely little piece of calm amidst the chaos. And we really appreciate the fact that we were kindly provided with a bursary by the kinship so that we were able to attend. ❤️

Love kinship in nature SO MUCH. The forest school is just an incredible space for children and their caregivers alike. Every week I look forward to spending time with my little one in this beautiful patch of forest and he also adores it. We initially signed up to do something beneficial for my son but honestly I get just as much benefit. The tranquility, joyful engagement with nature, the new skills and forest/foraging knowledge I’ve learnt and the companionship of like minded families is just second to none. The facilitators are so knowledgable and feel like old friends. If I’ve had a frantic morning I can literally feel any stress dissipate as I arrive to the woodland. We will be sad when it’s time to move on and im hoping to be able to participate in some of the adult leaning activity they run in the future. If you’re wondering whether to join, don’t hesitate! You won’t regret it.
