I’ve always wanted to learn Spanish and I am so interested in the Spanish culture and been thinking to join the classes at Instituto Cervantes for years. I did a level test and the service was incredible and very easy then got placed in B1.4 level. The sign up process was a breeze and the classes were very welcoming and informative. Now I have way more confidence speaking Spanish and my vocabulary bank increased so much. All thanks to Cervantes and my wonderful teacher Ana! They also do incredible cultural events including flamenco shows, dance classes, culinary events, book clubs and movie screenings. Great selection of books that will be free to borrow once you enroll. Totally recommend 👏🏼

I have just completed my second course at the Institute Cervantes and I could not recommend it enough. The teaching style is engaging and effective, making it easy to follow while still challenging. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and just the perfect learning environment. Javier is absolutely incredible and has such a gift of teaching.

While the lessons do require you to put in the work and dedicate time to homework, it’s absolutely worth the effort. I’ve seen significant progress in my Spanish skills and feel motivated to keep learning. I would highly recommend these lessons to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish. I’m already looking forward to signing up again in January!

I have been visiting Spanish classes at Instituto de Servantes.
I so love it it, I enjoy learning this beautiful language and I met a lot of beautiful people here.
Especially Great Thanks to our teacher Geraldine
She is not only a wonderful professor, but a lovely person as well. She will always talk to you, help when she can
Once she even took her personal time to talk to me when I needed a support . So she is a gem
And as she is from Latina America we have an opportunity to learn how to say some idiomas in Spanish and Latino America (some words and expressions might be little bit different ).
Also she always tries to entertain us and brings a lot of interaction for the lessons, for example when we were learning about food she brought us a national food of Venezuela 🇻🇪 to try and after we were cooking by ourselves and learning the words. And the process was such interesting and helped to learn the words quickly
Also teachers (we had Ana, Elvira) and all all there are friendly, superpofessional and supportive
So those who want to learn Spanish, the culture and vibes of beautiful Spain and Latino American go to Servantes! It is an amazing place

I have just finished the term studying A1.2 at Cervantes and plan to pick it back up in autumn as I really enjoyed it. The classes were good and Ana was such a great teacher. The only negative I have is that the library books are only available to rent for half the semester.

My time at Instituto Cervantes for both the A1 course and a Spanish crash course has been enjoyable. Despite being an absolute beginner, I felt comfortable and encouraged to participate actively in class discussions and activities. The lessons are enjoyable, and the teachers are passionate and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for anyone learning Spanish!

I have thoroughly enjoyed learning Spanish and can't wait to start A2.2 in January. My teacher was great and clearly explained everything. I was encouraged and challenged both in class and in my homework, which helped me to improve and spurred me on to study more. As a result I have become much more confident in speaking, reading and writing in Spanish. I looked forward to each lesson consolidating what I had previously learnt and to learn and practise new aspects of Spanish. I have still got a way to go but I have been given a strong foundation on which to build on. Thank you!

I love this place! After I took early retirement I decided I needed to do activities that kept my brain young, and I love learning languages. So I decided upon Spanish because I had recently visited Spain and had been frustrated by my lack of language ability. I have now completed 2 levels of Spanish and I absolutely love it. I just want to keep learning and learning! Both teachers I have had are brilliant, but best of all is the camaraderie of the learning group, students and teacher together, we all love our Wednesday mornings! It most definitely keeps my brain alive.
I’ve not yet fully explored the other resources, I want to spend time in the library and rent some books and films to use at home. I also plan to come to some of the cultural sessions which look great fun.
Well done Instituto Cervantes, te encanto!

For many years, we have been incredibly happy with everything that Instituto Cervantes in Manchester offers. We cannot recommend the school enough for anyone who wishes to learn Spanish. We'd like to say "muchas gracias" to Pablo for his guidance and management style and all of the teachers who help every student enjoy each lesson immensely!
