I went to Lyndsey for therapy, as I was keen to have a therapist who had previous knowledge of working with care leavers. I had already been to a private therapist and didn’t feel comfortable working with her. However, when I had my first appointment with Lyndsey she made me feel comfortable and at ease. I struggle with being outright when I first have an appointment with a professional but Lyndsey was very patient with me and asked me questions to get to know me and what I wanted from therapy.

Accessing private therapy was something I should have done a long time ago, but I am glad that I was able to access this with Lyndsey and finally do the work that was needed. I have felt so much benefit from having therapy with Lyndsey and truly believe I would not be where I am right now without it. Throughout the whole process Lyndsey has been understanding, patient, supportive, reflective and honest. I have no doubt that if I ever felt I needed therapy in the future, my first call would be to get in touch with Lyndsey as I am comfortable talking to her and have trust in her.

I will always recommend Lyndsey if you are wanting to access therapy, she has been absolutely fantastic!
