Great beginnings! They are functional, first floor only open, two floors to go, but they've had shows at the Rialto, with live personalities. They've had some setbacks due to weather damage. Spirits are high, tho, and the future looks bright. It's neat to see the history of all this, the Great Migration, Route 66, famous deejays, etc. Great folks in charge.

Nice stop along Route 66! Found free parking along a side street. Free admission (donations appreciated). Unfortunately building was hit by a tornado and they are in the middle of reparations and showing great promise of some new and exciting displays. Staff is very welcoming and will gladly show you around and answer any questions. Will look forward to our next visit!

Got a stamp on my Route 66 passport and received a free pin. The museum is closed but the gift shop remains open. The lady there was so welcoming and friendly. She helped me to choose a souvenir, took me great pictures and told me so much information about the museum. Bought the Lincoln T-shirt and a hat here. Thank you for bringing me a unique experience! (Sorry I forgot to ask your name)

It was wounderful and very informative. It was like meeting old friends from the youth! We had a great private guided tour. This place ROCKS! There is also a very cool gift shop. A jewel, weather you travel the ol' 66 or just drop by!

If we had been able to go inside I’m sure I could give a better review. Checked hours on the website on 12/28, drove an hour to get there and found a note on the door at saying “closed early today”. Not a great way to build your membership. At least there was a nice history museum down the street.

As a music lover I appreciate the collection of artifacts and history. The people working there were volunteers and were great.

I was there the first weekend in June'24 and it wad just opening. The floor level was open, the second floor is still in construction. Even though there was only a fraction of the displays up it was fun.

I had no idea of all the great musicians and bands that are from Illinois.

I look forward to visiting again.

My family and I had lots of fun there! We enjoyed looking at the exhibits and perusing the gift shop. Excellent photo ops for your snapshots on Route 66!

This place is very cool! Almost didn't get to go though, because I didn't see the doorbell to ring right at first. And there was a sign on the door that said they had closed at 2, because of the heat. And it was almost 5. The lady was very nice, when she did come out. There was no charge! At least for now, and she gave me a little info on a few of the things before leaving me on my own. To look around. They don't have a lot there yet, but I hope to go back when it is fully open. As a bass player, I liked the triple strung...left handed bass. The gift shop is on point. With lots of good merch. Shirts are comfy and good quality, with lots of sizes!
