My son received a gift voucher for a 1/2 hour riding lesson here. The staff were very friendly and took him through the class step by step. The ponies looked well looked after with plenty of space and the trainer explained everything really well. My son really enjoyed it and was keen to return. Unfortunately it's quite a distance from where we live, but if we were closer and looking to get some riding lessons, we'd be back.

My daughter had a great first lesson here, she was quite nervous to begin with and Georgie the instructor was so patient and reassuring with her and helped her build her confidence. She is now keen to continue. The stables are also very well kept and the ponies seem well cared for and happy.

Just the best riding establishment ! The instructors are incredibly experienced, inclusive, approachable and very good at their job. Lesson content and opportunities to access further learning are second to none. Ponies are incredibly well schooled and have fantastic temperaments exactly what you need around children. Wouldn't let my daughter ride anywhere else, she has blossomed here !

Very professional riding school. I've had my first lesson with Hannah today and she is very experienced, nice and perfect teacher. The team is nice as well and the ponies and horses are so healthy, happy and very well trained. I've had like 100+ lessons in other stables but I learned much more just with this lesson with Hannah than on the others. I highly recommend this amazing riding school!

My daughter has been riding at hot to trot for a few years now and I can honestly say, it has been the best experience. She has learnt so much. Of course how to ride, lessons here are brilliant Hannah is a amazing instructor, and extremely knowledgeable. But she also learnt so much more. As well as having lessons the riding school offer so much more from pony day and summer camp, to forest rides and show jumping. There is something to offer for all ages and abilities. The ponies are fantastic, and you can see how loved and well cared for they are. Can't recommend highly enough.

Hot to Trot is not your average riding school! Hannah and Carla are knowledgeable, encouraging instructors and it shows that they really love what they do.
The ponies are kept immaculately, they are a happy bunch and there is something for everyone.
The same goes for the variety of activities that are on offer outside of normal lessons. It's lovely that you don't have to own or loan a pony to join in. I am continually impressed by the whole team's dedication and care.
My daughter and wife have thrived under the care of Hot To Trot!

I took my daughter for a riding lesson with Hannah at Hot to Trot today, after a less than satisfactory experience elsewhere. We were made very welcome and were so impressed with the spotless yard and happy, healthy and relaxed horses and ponies. The quality of instruction was first class. Hannah explained clearly what was required and why, and her no nonsense approach with a touch of humour ensured that my daughter made good progress and can't wait to go again. Couldn't recommend Hot to Trot highly enough.

Cliquey, unprofessional bullies!.

After several happy months of my daughter attending lessons, the actual ‘teaching’ stopped abruptly and each 30 min session was filled with negativity. Rather than trying to correct my daughters errors, she was just made to feel incompetent and her love of horse riding was completely ruined. To add insult to injury, the club then contacted my wife to say that my daughter was no longer welcome at the club due to the manner in which my wife spoke to a member of staff about the issues. This was complete fabrication, the conversation was polite, relaxed and left on good terms with said member of staff.

In summery, I believe they forced my daughter out to make way for friend of the cliques child to take her place.
