What a gem of a place. Visited there today while taking niece and nephew to the park. The lady (owner I believe) was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. There is an excellent selection of yarn and some other items which would make great gifts for any yarn lover. (My sis in law has purchased my birthday present for me ) Lady was also very patient while the 2 year olds emptied, and then put back, buttons from a pot, all over the floor. Excellent service. Apparently there are a few knit and natter groups over the week and I believe there are workshops.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received in this establishment. As a amateur knitter, I don’t have a clue about the different equipment I could use, the different types of wool and even reading basic patterns. Here, I found the support I needed to really get going with my new hobby. I would highly recommend anyone to come here to get some lovely wool or support in knitting and crocheting. Hooked on Stitching is wonderful! There is a great selection of lovely yarn at sensible prices, as well as other necessaries, like needles and hooks. You can learn new skills at lessons or workshops. The gatherings of like minded friends are very enjoyable, also the tea and cake!

What a lovely addition to the local business’ around here, a great atmosphere and wonderful customer service (as everyone is so friendly!) Perfect for any first timer’s or someone with a lot of experience who would like to join a group of others to socialise and even learn new things while doing so.
