I would like to write you this testimonial, because I think it is well-deserved. I am not one to throw my words around casually, being a lawyer and therefore trained at evaluating facts and not jumping to rash and often incorrect conclusions, but in your case, these words are just deserved. I came to you following a prolonged period suffering from extreme and unexplained anxiety, feelings of overwhelm and depression, essentially I felt that I was enveloped in doom. You sat me down and in your professional no nonsense fashion told me that we are essentially the master of our own thoughts and that we can control them if prepared to be open-minded, willing and ready to undertake the very simple work necessary. I wanted to tell you all about my past, my traumas my woes, my feelings of anxiety and inadequacy. You stopped me, politely saying, “no need for me to know anything about you, your past or indeed your future, all I want to help with?”. So, I obliged (begrudgingly). I played along having no faith in that this would or could work for me and left the first consultation happy to return for my trance therapy but tinged with more than some cynicism. When you told me about your magic wands that I should place under my pillow at night, I inwardly laughed. However, I must tell you, following this session, there has been a deep-seated shift in my emotional state. I am happier. Yes, me, I am happier and more content. You told me I would be, but I didn’t believe you. I have not had a panic attack now for three whole days. I have embraced my ridiculous workload with joy and vigour and gratitude and have started to enjoy the simple things in life once again. I dare not dream that this is going to last forever, however, what I can tell you is that just for today and just for now you transformed my life. I experienced what normal people must experience, just being, and being happy and content, the whirring and whizzing having quietened down and stopped. The relief is beyond compare. So, I don’t know how you wield your magic wands and frankly, I don’t really care, but one thing is absolute, I shall be coming back for more ….
