i absolutely love it here. i’ve been 3 times and every time has been so much fun. the staff are very friendly! there are many designs to choose from and many different coloured paints to use on your designs. the possibilities are endless. it was a brilliant date for me and my boyfriend!

DO NOT GOTO EMMA’S POTTERY! I hosted my 8 year old daughter’s birthday party at Emma's Pottery recently and the experience is absolutely disappointing. My daughter painted her pottery with a variety of colours (I personally saw it myself). Upon collection (after glazing/firing) the plate turned out entirely orange. I reached out to the staff who insisted that the colours on the plate after firing is a reflection on how it was painted.

The owner - Emma herself had the most dismissive response, she blamed it on the possibility that my daughter was too excited on that day and painted the entire plate orange while thinking it was green. I understand that the glazing process can change the colours to a certain degree (if this was the response, I would’ve accepted it just fine) but to gaslight the situation and suggest my child’s inability to identify colours at 8 years old is absolutely unacceptable. FYI, my daughter has done pottery painting at other places and never experienced such problems.

My daughter had her 10th birthday party here and we were delighted. Reasonable pricing and great service. We had someone who was there to help the children and they had a fantastic time. Would definitely recommend as a great way to celebrate a child’s birthday. The kids had great fun and their decorated plates are a brilliant memento of a fantastic day.
