I attended the Paula Dunn two day course and had a great time. I came away feeling inspired to carry on and develop the techniques we had been taught. The venue was everything you would want from an art space a d Cathy the owner made everyone feel at home. The central Sidmouth location meant that lunch could be taken in one of the many cafes in this lovely seaside town. I will definitely be back for more courses.

East Devon Art Academy is a fantastic place to learn , have fun and be with like minded artists . There are classes for all types of art; watercolour, oil, mixed media and drawing . The sessions are well structured and run by top class teachers and artists for all ages and abilities. No matter what level you are at you will be warmly welcomed and learn lots. The Academy attracts world class artists to run workshops throughout the year, including Hashim Akib, John Hoar and Roger Dellar. And it’s by the sea in beautiful Sidmouth !

Cathy is welcoming and friendly! Her lessons are relaxed and informative. There are many workshops to choose from in different media and with different artists over the year. Highly recommend booking onto a workshop or joining a class!
