Disappointing highly don't recommend this place a waste of time no help felt worse coming out then in. Camhs have let many people down and what they don't tell you is that they wait for people to be actively suicidal before even considering intervening. And when they do there to uneducated to be able to help people who are suicidal even people who are don't get the right support. How would you feel if you walked in on your child trying to kill themselves after repeatedly trying get them some support. Sadly this is reality for many the mental health service is a pisstake camhs including. Don't recommend seeing terri anne or dr longsdale or camhs at all. I would describe this place as grossly inadequate. Might aswell not be there you don't get support anyway.

Neglectful of patients mh many are dismissed told self harming is okay normal etc is it really something that should be normalized by so called professionals dangerous attitude to have and tell mentally ill ppl.

Waited a total of 7 months before being seen. My son was not given a diagnosis despite having a large amount of ‘traits’ and blamed my sons ‘developmental delay’ and learning difficulties for his traits. I was not listened to and the ‘NICE’ guidelines were not followed in my sons assessment. from others reviews it seems as though the professionals ‘blame’ childs learning difficulties rather than assessing properly and formally. I would encourage anyone in my situation to raise formal complaints and be referred for a ‘second opinion’.. which may I add should be offered in the feedback meeting but never is! Staff were not sympathetic and failed me and my son.

I'd give this no stars if possible, this place has barely done anything for me and most of the people there trying to "help" you are condescendingly and extremly insensitive and just do not care and camhs has failed to support me and I was meant to go back onto sertraline half a year ago but I was too depressed to get out of bed let alone attend my appointments didn't even bother to call just sent a letter saying they are discharging me now also they took me off other meds so I am currently mentally unstable and unsafe to myself and others around me this system is effed up please I'm speaking for most mentally ill adolescent kids and teens do better!!!!!

Absolute waste of time, my son now has a diagnosis which Camhs could of provided but didn’t, the senior practitioner was too busy asking me why I want to label my child and blaming his learning difficulties rather than making the correct diagnosis. A very upsetting unprofessional appointment.
