Took far too long to get an appointment. When finally got near to an appointment they were unable to see mum as she had a fall and ended up in hospital. Following this moved into a care home which was in another area. Mum had managed to get out of the hospital ward in a confused state and walk on a busy road in her pyjamas as not classed as having dementia due to no diagnosis. The process now has to start all over again.

After having relentless mental health problem's over the last four years, with little help from the CMHT, I final broke down over christmas and spent time in hospital, I used to think at some point the cwp would get involved, yet the atitude still pervades of non-interest and denied referals , I now know they will not at any point get involved in my case they have been dreadful, caused more problems and helped with nothing. They may as well not exist.

This is a very special place for me personally. It's here that I access virtually all of my mental health and emotional well-being support. The staff and volunteers are all fantastic without exception. Probably one of the biggest reasons for this fact is that a very large proportion of them have years of "Lived Life Experience". This "bank" of experience is vast and covers every conceivable aspect of MH&EWB.

The clinical services here are accessible and include such groundbreaking ones as Individual Placement and Support which is provided in conjunction with specialist service provider Standguide.

The CWP NHS Foundation Trust also uses the Delamere RC to provide and deliver a full syllabus of group training and education courses. These help service users gain valuable knowledge, information and techniques to help with their self-management and improvement of the full range of MH&EWB conditions.

All in all the Delamere RC, alongside its sister sites across the CWP NHS FT's, have become what to my mind ate "Centres of Excellence & Best Pratice"

Let's hope that local and central funding is maintained and even increased where possible to maintain and grow this wonderful facility.

There is not point of accusation but this government has for years depleted all helpful places where people go, people that are poor and have nowhere to go and Delamere and all that work there are trying to do the very best I understand for some people need more...... They are only human and like everyone; one has to do with what we got

Absolutely shocking service. For anybody struggling with Mental Health issues should not expect to get any meaningful support. You will be lied to. Your phone calls will not be answered. Indeed you will probably be given a false number which will not distract the employees of the office and their daily routine.

I have no idea who holds this "resource centre" to account but it is quite clear that they are also not fit for purpose.

Good luck to all those people struggling with mental illness. Don't get your hopes fup to be helped by anyone here.....

Awful place awful staff. Managed by some one who dos not care about mentel health. If Managed by someone who dos not care the rest of the staff will not care!! Receptionist never get things right and if u tell them that thay will push the blame on to u. DO YOUR SELF A FAVER DO NOT USE THERE SERVICE! but I can only advise u. U may have to deal with them yourself to beleave it. Thank u for reading. And sorry to all those who have to deal with the rudeness and arrogance. Hopefully nhs will wake up soon and do something. Not lightly!
