I stayed at cygnet Niels house from October-December , my time there was phenomenal staff truly went above and beyond for care and put in their all. I cannot thank the team enough for where I am today, I am feeling much better and well adjusted and it’s due to the care and treatment I received from the care support workers, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, doctors and nurses.

I’d especially like to give thanks to Becky, jade , Paul , Mariam and all of the other staff members who truly did their best in supporting during my time at this hospital.

This is one of the best I have been to the support and understanding has been amazing. The OT team are amazing Carmen well it's not Compton wardwithout her Becky helped me through an additional difficult time as did Gabriel ,Becky talked me through and did what I needed at that time to get me through one of yet another worst time if my life the other staff were amazing at supporting me once on the ward again, too many to mention everyone but the ones that stood out the most were Andrea, Jade, Lou, sawer, Loucrecia,Ruth , yeti, Angela, inky, Paul , soji,Marilyn, Isaac and Taylor these especially supported me made me laugh helped me cry, did activities with us, some of these staff gave me the comforting words or encouraging stern words I needed to hear they got to know me well and knew what I needed when, I can never thank them enough team comptom for saving my life many a time so I can return home and be a mummy again they gave me my life back only thing I think heads of company need to do is praise these staff and provide more staff to ensure they don't lose these incredible people who at time frequently even are over stretched but still endever to meet individuals needs also provide more female on shift a although I did see this change happening as I left, please ensure these staff all get the recognition they deserve.Thankyou to you all just isn't and will never be enough all keep been you. Keeping a glimmer of light in the darkest of days. Jo.x

Terrible place, carers and nurse and support worker bullied me so much, treating me like I'm dirty, actually I showered, changed clothes, one carer closed door to hall before me and later was saying not allowed to go there were others were hanging, later carers started to bossing me around, like I have to do their work. Definitely damaged my mental health more, one bossy carer was bullying, talking about me, calling me names to other right next to me. One female carer was commenting my appearance. They treated British people so much better than me who is Estonian, although carers were Africani. Terrible place for sensitive one. They were talking about me like "this one", like I'm some thing and I was even informal, not sectioned. I'm still crying and are angry because of that and I even have my flat not waiting for rehousing, I don't know what they thought I don't have enough things in my room or something. I got so humiliated.

Spent 3 months on this ward. This is one of the nicest hospitals I have been admitted to. Private, en-suit bedrooms which are clean and comfortable.
The majority of staff genuinely care and take time to get to know the patients. Activities and days out are provided to encourage patients to get involved.
Lovely planted garden area to spend time in if you are not allowed leave.
Food is nice.
My only concern is that when I was there consultant care wasn't consistent, and so my medical treatment felt un structured. Also discharge was rushed and very poorly handled.
