Terrible place no one cares about the patients it’s a case of Medicate everyone so they sleep loads and eat loads nearly all longer term patients grossly dangerously over weight due to meds. Staff don’t care over worked under paid. Except for the executives who are millionaires. My son was mistreated here kicked out when they new he was going to die. Appalling place must be shut down. I had an excellent experience with this hospital. I found care from all those who work there. Now I have stopped treatment and I am not only fine, but I feel like a different person with new thinking and awareness.

I stayed in this hospital as a patient years ago. I faced the worse abuse possible while under the care of staff in this hospital. That i still haven’t fully recovered from mentally years later. There is so much I could write about this place. It should be shut down.

I have a family member in this hospital and all the visits were frustrating, the lack of communication between employees is clear, and there is always an employee accompanying the visit, and this employee was not at all friendly and responded with an aggressive voice. and even told my sister to shut up by pointing the finger in her face. I got very frustrated and even cried sincerely. I would have more things to say, but I just want my family member to leave this hospital soon. Anyone who has the opportunity to choose another hospital would be the best option.

I was a patient here for a month and the majority of staff were useless and not very nice at all! Noisy environment makes it impossible to sleep. A lot of complaints but some staff were lovely so it’s not always that bad, just keep to yourself and good luck if you’re a patient!

The food is revolting. Barely edible. It all looks lovely when you make selections on your menus form. But the food you get ... my dog wouldn't eat it. Pies that are dry and rock hard
Boiled chicken with no flavour. Bread that's impossible to chew. Gravy that is tasteless brown water. Vegetables with no flavour. After 5pm until 9am there is no food available apart from a "supper" consisting of a small bowl of cereal and/or toast. Somebody had pizza delivered one evening because they were so hungry. But everyone can't afford a takeaway.
It is an impediment to good mental health to be served disgusting food. I was hungry the whole time I was there and dreaded every mealtime.

In my experience 10% of nursing staff brilliant, 10% are rubbish and the rest lack care. Management don’t seem to care about their staff or patients, they’re only interested in garnishing a good PR image!

Horrible and stressful experience for my family member that was there. So traumatic and didn't help at all. They organised a home treatment team to contact when said family member wasn't feeling well mentally which was supposed to be minimum 6 months and in a time of need, we contacted them and they claimed that the file was closed and they were unwilling to help anymore, 2 months in. None of the serviced they offer help. Please look for an alternative hospital if you need help.
