If you feel alone, if you want advice, compassion and support...

DON'T ENGAGE WITH THIS SERVICE...

THEY DON'T CARE.
THEY'LL SIGNPOST YOU ANYWHERE THAN ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY.

THEY'D RATHER DIAGNOSE YOU AS HAVING A DISORDER AND LABEL YOU THAN ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY.

THEY TEND TO BLAME THE CLIENT THAN HELP...

I have lost loved one's because of this service.

I have been Misdiagnosed so often, I spent years on drugs I didn't need.
I'm actually Autistic and adhd... With a ton of comorbid mental health issues.

Going to Glanville House has traumatised myself and those who feel suicidal...
We're all a thorn in the side of Mental Health, made to feel like it's our issue.

Negative experience. In particular, appalling failure of communication - both between workers and clients, and between internal departments. Management needs to make changes.

Wouldn't help my friend as she was feeling suicidal and needed help.

They have put up barriers so that they won't help her. Such as them asking her to go on video call when she can't because of her disability.

They said because she might of been "coerced". We offered to show them details of her passport or driving license but they won't accept it.

I also spoken to a staff member at relational recovery and she said that it's more damaging them avoiding giving her help than any worry of coercion.

Here's my thought is that I wonder if it's a common theme of them making it impossible to get help for someone.

The service should be accessible to those who are struggling with mental health rather than putting up barriers making it difficult for them.

Schedule meetings to discuss their failure to meet their patients needs only for the meetings to be delayed and cancelled and when you finally get the pleasure of a meeting with management they leave the call 20 mins into an hour long call after refusing to hear their patients out.

Staff take "lunch breaks" when they're supposed to be in scheduled meetings because it's too much work to actually help people. Refused to treat my partner on the basis that she is non verbal and apparently I could be "coercing" her. They've straight up refused to accommodate adjustments to make the service accessible.

The manager Lee Hamilton is a blunt and uncaring man who believes he's above patients and it's his way or the high way. He cuts people off and leaves meetings without suitable outcomes.

Avoid this absolute joke of a "mental health service"

Won’t help people with disabilities. Full on discrimination. They would rather someone killed themselves than help them. It is Glanvile House because I have had help from Holly court but they refuse help for my twin sister who is struggling massively. I’ve never heard anything as bad as this. Treat people with respect and compassion. Why work for mental health services if you don’t care!!!?

The Mental Health Team / Social Workers etc are absolutely beyond useless! They make things worse for people and they don't really offer any help at all. No wonder there are lots of suicides and deaths because of them. They are just as corrupt as our governments are.. My mental health has got a lot worse because of them and at this rate I will probably end it all too! But they don't care, it's what they want to cull the population.

No wonder someone tried to end their life on Monday 1st July 2024 by jumping off the motorway bridge. They’ve just tried again today Thursday 4th July probably because they are not getting any help from the local services. Glanville house DO NOT care
