Steve is an amazing guide! So many things about his tours are (literally) unique and delightful. He has an enormous volume of ideas of things to see that are beautiful, quirky, popular, historic, and/or off the beaten path, and then he goes to lengths to find out what YOU think would be interesting and fun. He also learns about the amount of actual riding you want to do. And during the tour, he was remarkably attentive and flexible, noticing and responding to our pace and interests. My spouse and I had a great time riding with him and learning from him. Highly recommended.

What a great place to start out on your site seeing in Chicago. Our guide Paul was very thorough to begin the trip with safety tips and letting us know how to brake without falling. The facts about the city were much appreciated.

Absolutely loved this bike tour with Steve. Our tour was customized to what we wanted to see. Steve included stops in between our requested stops so we could learn and enjoy more about this beautiful city. Steve was patient with us and accommodating to our level of bike riding, making sure we were following behind and letting us know our route ahead. Steve took pictures and put them together on a map showing where we had been. He also included photos from the movie sites we stopped at so we could compare our pictures with the movie. It was awesome! I will recommend Steve to friends and book again!!!

What a wonderful way to spend a trip to Chicago! This bike adventure was the highlight of my trip as we rode around and Steve provide a comprehensive history of the neighborhoods, from where they started to where they are now. The ride is tailored based on your interests exploring the city- whether it be music, art, architecture, scenery, and more. If you like history, if you like art, or even if you just like riding bikes, I would highly recommend Chicago Bike Adventures to be part of your trip!

Steve's bike tour was an amazing and unique experience!! He weaves together a rich tapestry of art, culture, and social history. He also did a fantastic job at intuitively guiding the bike ride. So much so that I barely had to think of where we were going and could focus more on all of the amazing things there were to experience along the way. The tour was a highlight of my trip and I regret there is not the opportunity to experience such a tour elsewhere.

My group had an amazing time. I’m moving to Chicago soon and Steve was a great resource about the history of the area, along with creating a great route that showed the things important to me like parks, neighborhoods, and restaurants. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to become more intimate with the city. We were able to cover a lot of ground at a very easy and relaxing pace, and see some pretty cool spots.
