Great venue within a short walk from Southwark Underground Station. The staff are kind and helpful and the unique small stage makes the experience very enjoyable. There are bars and restaurants nearby or you can also grab a bite and a drink at the Theatre's Cafe. I have just seen the play "The House of Spirits" based in the novel by Chilean author Isabel Allende and can say it was an amazing, enthralling, superb work of art. Cannot commend the cast more as they all left their skins and souls on the stage to make us feel as if we were wandering Chile throughout the time. Absolutely superb!! What a night!! Five stars!! Bravo!! 👏👏👏

I love Isabel Allende, that's why I wanted to see "The House of the Spirits" and I wasn't disappointed. It is a powerful and beautiful play, even though, at times, shocking, because it depicts some scenes from a prison where a woman is beaten and tortured. The characters are unforgettable, struggling to find their way /love in life. Relationships are under close scrutiny, time is fragmented, going back and forth, politics and money, all create an original story that is worth telling and understanding!

A small, intimate theatre specialising in Spanish plays under the railway arches. Newly refurbished in a modern European style, there is comfortable seating (actual cushions!) and a clean, crisp bar playing jazz music in the background. The rumble of the trains paying overhead adds to the intimate atmosphere, whilst the collection of trendy bars and restaurants outside ensures a lively atmosphere.

Small beautiful theatre, excellent acoustics. It's so near to the actors
it gives the impression you too are interacting! Always good quality plays, very intense ones! Highly recommended for theatre lovers.
And at affordable prices!

Brilliant theatre which cleverly utilises space underneath a railway arch to create a unique building.

Note that there is no disabled access to the bar/waiting area or loos.

Great play! Lovely little theatre and good wine upstairs. Don't follow the Google directions if you're walking from Southwark station, because you'll walk round the block and still not get there. Turn right into the yard just before the railway arch.

The performers were incredible, I went to see la casa de bernada alba and they embodied the characters to the letter.

Very nice lounge upstairs for waiting until the show as well.

Great venue featuring Spanish plays - they have Spanish language and English language performances. The theatre has an intimate setting with the audience right by the actors so you feel you are in the midst of the performance. We were very impressed with the quality of the acting. They also have a nice modern looking bar with large sofas, serving Spanish beers and wines.
