Got referred here after a visit to Medway maritime. Out of blue the next day I had two workers turn up at my door, didn't introduce themselves and sarcastically asked to come inside after I forced them to identify themselves. They immediately started ridiculing me for the state of my flat, sorry when I wanna kms I don't wanna clean?! They then constantly pressed me about the fact I "missed" their calls, despite me showing them my call history. Then when I said I felt overwhelmed by all of the aforementioned and that I kinda just wanted them to leave, they did. They then called me hours later to say they had cancelled my referral. When I tried to express my concerns about the visit, the gentleman, Ronald, just spoke over me, said we have a lot of cases to deal with and hung up on me. For a mental health clinic, all they did was leave me feeling unhelpable and hopeless.

Absolute abysmal service. No continuity of “care” always blame being over capacity. Gate keep services and don’t listen. Patronising staff that speak down to you. Should especially not work in mental health if they have zero ability of empathy or compassion. They themselves lack capacity in delivering care to anybody. Zero stars.

Requested urgent help from them today to assist my vulnerable daughter. Response was that they will contact her at some point in the future. Why are we funding this place ?

This organisation has blood on its hands. They will blame cuts and funding. but they are sadly unprofessional and unqualified. They have no understanding of mental health nor do they care. It's a waste of time and money because they don't do anything just send the same people round the same system for years while they get paid but no one gets better.
No one in Medway will get the right support while these people are in charge. Anyone that's having problems with Britton house staff I suggest you complain to your Local MP and relivent government agency's.

Like other people had said, I wish I could put minus 1 star. This organisation is not fit for purpose. Even the GPs get annoyed by them. They are dismissive and make you feel like it is a chore for them to help you. I understand that mental health services are stretched but these people can’t even provide basic dignity to the patient. My daughter has been pushed from pillar to post by these clowns who keep fobbing her off. The last person she spoke to kept yawning whilst on the phone to her and didn’t take the details down correctly which didn’t truly explain the severity of the situation resulting in her being referred to Live well kent and discharged. Live well Kent can’t give a diagnosis! My daughter needs a diagnosis in order to get the correct medication. I dread to think how many seriously ill people have been let down by Britton (Bungle) House!

Am disappointed by the service my son recieved the mental health nurse said she would refer him places and it hasn't happened even after he was at his lowest and took overdose then came the physical health team who came to do a home visit and blood tests now been discharged. How can this really happen after he's took a over dose he has no support from anywhere.

Daisy the receptionist is truly a lovely person. Makes me feel safe to talk to her, and she's never judgemental. As well as Maria the nurse. She was brilliant and helped diagnose me in my time of need. Couldn't fault them.
