Getting a little bit better support then before. Feeling a little bit more confident with them then I used to. They are trying I think. Finally got me on a managing emotions course after mentioning it for a long time but not taking action for me to do it until recently so that's positive. People can progress if they have the determination to want to get better as long as they have the right support, are listened to, and communicated with. I do wish they would be monitoring me better with communication for the different medication I get put on and follow up better.
I dont think a lot of mental health professionals realise people who have MH, specially if caused by trauma and neglect, often don't have the ability to know how to make things better and struggle to understand themselves because of how trauma and mh conditions have rewired how their brain works and they need help to understand this and to understand how their brain is working and what steps to take to change things.
ChatGPT explained a lot to me no psychiatrist has ever explained to me about how my truama has effected my brain functioning and if they had, I'd probably of made more progress a long time ago instead of feeling so much shame for my MH.
