Terrible treatment my daughter was under their care. The treatment is to take more tablets and don't bother them. My daughter is now dead. That's how bad they are. She saw them in emergency situation after calling them out twice and from hospital just the week prior.

There are a few incredibly amazing staff members here but unfortunately that is not enough to redeem the overall lack of care, understanding or professionalism. According to someone that was spoken to the cause of mental health issues does not mater and complicates things. It would appear based on that conversation and others that as has been the case for a number of years they only look for the easy answer to make their job easier and will only treat people on their terms, even if it is a detrimental impact to your mental health, i.e. agoraphobia. Autism is not a mental health disorder, you’re supposed to be helping to treat mental health issues. Disgraceful and disgusting!

Took 9 months for a referral to be made which holds an extremely long waiting list. I called regularly chasing this up, left voicemails which were not called back, spoke to the Dr in person whenever I just about managed to get an appointment and was still pushed to the side and ignored with no help. Was consistently promised it would be sent off “that week” and i would get a call though this was never fulfilled. Whenever I was able to chase this up directly with the Dr he told me he needed more info or needed to speak to my family…. we completed that whole process in January at my first appointment and was told it was going to be sent straight off. The ONLY time I received an adequate response which made the Dr send my referral off that day was when I complained to the local integrated care board, so if you are in a similar situation I highly recommend that. I requested the manager to call me so I can discuss how I have been treated though I was met with “I have passed this email to a manager” and did not hear from them. I work in healthcare and god forbid we provided treatment this inadequate. It’s a shame as I have not had an issue with the Dr or any staff other than my calls, referral etc all being neglected. If you are being sent here for any treatment, ask to be sent somewhere else 🤷‍♀️

Difficult to tell if composers of the bad reviews understand that the long appointment waits and lack of resources are actually the fault of the NHSs limited funding and not the individuals that work here...

Absolutely vile. I developed agoraphobia in December causing my anxiety to rise to the point I wasn’t sleeping I would panic every second and feel very low. Took 5 months to get one appointment where the psychiatrist saw me and just told me to refer myself somewhere and upped my medication. No help what so ever. I will never understand why if you can’t do your job properly why do it? Psychiatrists are meant to get to the root cause and HELP you. I’m reporting this place needs to be shut down.

Honestly I just continue having bad experiences here. The reception team are lovely, but the pharmacist and doctors are patronising and make you feel like you're such an annoyance. I feel like a test rat, being handed out different medication 'just to check if I have X, Y or Z'. Really disappointing as there isn't anywhere else to go, and Bedford CMHT in my experience is just as bad. I know everything in the NHS is struggling and I completely appreciate that, but it doesn't take much to have some basic communication skills and empathy.

This place is the worst no one actually has a clue about mental health it’s shocking I don’t think anyone even has communication skills they make you want to give up disgusting place

The so called psychiatrists don’t even have a clue makes me so angry people are struggling and there’s no help

One of the worst in the country! Absolutely terrible! The attitudes stink and they do no follow up calls whatsoever! The manager has an attitude always huffing and puffing like he's fed up all the time! But unfortunately this is what we have to deal with and put up with .
