I like the staff there at the hospital. I also enjoyed the fact I lost weight at the time I stayed here in may 5th 2023 up until June 8th 2023 when I was released and ready to go home. I got along with everyone else on the site. I love the no smoke free service(vapes). I got two(vape)

Very few support workers, seem to be client focused. The whole mental health services need more funding, so that real person centred care can be achieved. Currently SLAM is not fit for purpose. Better client and clinician, communication and transparency needed, to help reduce psychological stresses.

I was a patient here in 1356, I still roam the corridors to this day. The food has declined over the last 50 years…. A lot of nasty chemicals. And nobody talks to each other anymore… you are all doomed 👻

Porter staff need training on how to deal with people. I had been parking in a electric charging space for 2 months after being told it was OK. I returned one day to find two sticky labels on both my side windows asking not to park in the space. The labels covered my wing mirror so I went to the porters to ask for water to help remove the labels and I was refused. I explained the labels cant be removed without water but he still refused and said i needed to speak with the supervisor. A supervisor came out and also refused to give me water but felt it necessary to lecture me on parking. I became angry as I had explained that someone had told me I could park there but admitted I was given wrong info. He still refused to help and walked away. They ignored me trying to get there attention so I ended up having to bang on the counter. He eventually came out and informed me emergency services were coming. I took a seat and shortly a woman came. When she asked him for water he gave it to her and made a big show of telling me, he would do it for but not for me. The whole incident could have been avoided if they had helped me in the first place and showed a little empathy or common sense. Very rude and petty people. Please retrain. Maybe some diversity and customer care training is needed. They probably need to understand that some people using this hospital are dealing with stress and these situations are not needed.

If I could give this staff and place zero then I would. Some of the black staff treat white patients badly and also handle them roughly. The food here is vile and barely edible.

I’d been to she Maudsley hospital before for approx 2 weeks as a voluntary in patient and i wish I’d returned there.

I warn you not to come here as this place id awful. .

Very poor behaviour from the staff i was there for my friend and the way she was handled like a ball tossed around like a doll full forced her basically the food is low quality no wonder the patients lose so much weight its vile inedible and presented horrible if this is one of your choices to send someone here don't unless you want them to be 2 times as worse the only thing that they put effort in is the interior

TERRIBLE. Honestly horrific. Got moved from a gau to a picu because they refused to discharge me and kept me there longer than need to be. Horrible place, staff will honestly batter you into seclusion. U get some nice staff but they don’t care. Left traumatised.
