I reached out to Beneficial Change to help with my 9 year old daughter who has high-functioning autism. She has low self-esteem, is very negative and finds it difficult to regulate her negative emotions.
MJ was able to work with my daughter to improve her self-esteem and help her focus on positivity and this resulted in her being better able to regulate her negative emotions. I am so grateful to MJ as the difference after a few weeks was amazing. We now have the tools to maintain this practice and will go back any time we need a "top up"!

I was introduced to Beneficial Change after I experienced a traumatic accident. The weekly sessions were a lifeline for me, I was confined to bed and lost my mobility. The sessions helped me to concentrate on staying well and provided small manageable goals to keep me feeling that I was making progress towards getting better.
The sessions worked both immediately and I think, subliminally over time. Months later I can fully appreciate the small positive changes I made in my life as a result. I still see MJ once a month because she has enabled me to bring new patterns of thinking, feeling and being into my life which have made it better. I feel that the monthly sessions keep me on track with plans for my life .If you are looking for managing unexpected changes or creating good changes in your life I recommend MJ whole heartedly.

I came to MJ at a time when I was extremely anxious about the pregnancy and birth of my second child, relating to a previous challenging experience and post natal period with my first born. I didn't expect to find such an instant rappor that continued throughout our sessions - MJ is extremely warm and very easy to speak to, and I found that this helped me be open and honest about difficulties I've had in the past. The guidance and tools she provided me with have been invaluable, not only for my pregnancy but for life in general. I have a deeper understanding of how the mind works and I feel much more self aware thanks to her guidance. I'm so grateful to MJ for showing me how to move forward and not get stuck in the past - I feel more confident in my ability to assess stressful situations and know that panic and anxious feelings can be overcome. It takes time and effort but these sessions were more than I could have wished for and I'd advise anyone who feels that they might need some help to speak with her - she's brilliant.

I started sessions with Merrenna just before the first lockdown and have to say, what a godsend she was! Isolating alone, I had a huge amount of anxiety built up from previous events, made worse by being then alone and scared. But weekly sessions lifted my spirits so much - Merrenna managed to help me see the positives - which I wouldn’t have seen otherwise - and helped me focus on what I could do to calm my system therefore helping my self. Her hypno sessions helped greatly too and a year later I still listen to her voice upon going to sleep. Her knowledge & understanding of the brain helped me see why it’s so important to learn techniques to de-stress. I now have monthly maintenance sessions that just help me stay focussed and mindful of stress levels. I can’t recommend Merrenna highly enough. She’s professional yet a ray of sunshine too! I am very happy I met Beneficial Change.
I had a very negative self image that influenced my happiness. I was comparing myself (physically) with others all the time and therefore could not be truly happy or genuinely myself when being with others.
I realized something had to change fast. As I could not change the way I looked I decided to change the way I saw myself.
Beneficial Change helped me with that process through our weekly hypnotherapy sessions. The sessions were fun (she is a person with great sense of humor) and easy to do. Now I see myself as the powerful beautiful person I have always been. I always look forward to out monthly sessions.
