"We have done antenatal classes and baby massage course with Becoming Families. The antenatal classes were very informative and full of practical advice. Helen and Jo were super welcoming, supportive and caring. Then I decided to take our second baby to the massage class and he so thoroughly enjoyed it. He was giving me lots of smiles, loved the quality time with me and staring at other babies. Maxine and the group were very supportive and friendly. We are now looking to do another course. If you are looking for some services or support during pregnancy and after having a baby, I highly recommend Becoming Families.
I have used the services over 5 years with my 2 children.
Becoming Families is run by the kindest and most knowledgeable people who have been a huge support network for me.
Most recently I have attended Baby Massage and Baby Yoga groups. Maxine is so warm and friendly and the groups are very relaxed and a safe space. Everyone is welcome and it is stressed not to worry if you are late or your baby is crying/feeding/nappy change etc. It is truly a service to support mums with all that comes with it.
I have attended the yoga course 3 times, I enjoyed the groups so much.
There is always time for a relaxed chat, hot cup of tea and biscuit and time to get to know other mums and make friends.
Totally recommend any and all of Becoming Families' services, you won't regret it.

We did our Antenatal course and baby massage course with Max at becoming families.
They were highly recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint! Max painted us a clear (as can be with child birth) picture of what we can expect and made sure we were informed on different options throughout inducing/labour/birth.
Baby massage was a very relaxing course and I'll really miss it! Max is friendly, funny and nonjudgemental, which makes the class feel like a safe space where you can say anything that's on your chest and she will support you and be your cheerleader! My son really enjoyed the class, laughing through most of it and sleeping well afterwards. Also can confirm the stomach massage worked a little too well...🫠
If your looking for a course with your little I highly recommend you book on!

My husband and I attended the prenatal classes and I couldn't recomend and race about them more. Dot guided our group of expectant parents with her masterful wizardry and really was such a joy to be around. Lots of really good information and learning through doing. We met such lovely people in our group and cannot wait to meet up in the future. The class became my husbands highlight of the week and the attention that was given to birth partners was very helpful for him to understand how he can help and what he could expect. We will definitely be signing up to the postnatal classes and dad stay and play in the future.

Becoming Families have been brilliant for me and my little one 🩷 We attend the drop in classes twice a week and enjoy them so much. They are friendly and relaxed groups, and both Max & Jo are incredibly supportive and welcoming. I have also seen Jo for a 1:1 well-being session and found this to be super helpful as a new mum who had lost confidence. I’ll be starting baby yoga this week and cannot wait! Thank you for all you do πŸ™πŸΌ

Maxine from Becoming Families ran out antenatal classes and all baby massage and baby yoga. All three classes are amazing, the antenatal classes enabled me to find friends to go through the new mummy journey with and the baby classes encouraged me to get out of the house in those early days! Maxine was amazing and took everything at our pace, answering as many questions as we had and helped us relax about what was to come ! I can't thank her enough xxx

Was recommended to Becoming Families by my midwife as I was trying to find antenatal classes.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at both the antenatal classes, pregnancy yoga and with baby massage! πŸ™‚
Hannah was amazing with yoga and created such a calm and safe environment each session.
Maxine was fantastic! Super informative, kind and reassuring during the antenatal classes and created a safe and comfortable environment for all present - she was so brilliant that booking onto baby yoga when my son was born with her was a no brainer!
Made so many mum friends who I consider to be some of my closest friends now and who I talk with daily and have been now for months after the classes have finished.
Would highly recommend using this wonderful company for all your pregnancy and baby needsπŸ˜ŠπŸ’™

If you are looking for somewhere to go for support during pregnancy and beyond, I would highly recommend. I attended the ante natal group, baby massage and baby yoga. The group sizes are small and really friendly. Max puts everyone at ease with her natural warm personality and it's such a great place as a new mum to spend some relaxed time with your baby and other mums. When they say any baby behaviour is welcomed they mean it. Very non judgemental environment and provision of much needed services. Thank you!
