I’m very lucky to very rarely require primary care help or need to see a GP , Today I was offered an appointment after making contact this morning and was seen promptly by Dr Leftwick today. Received a telephone call yesterday to bring in my driving licence OR passport to allow me to access to my medical history.
Struggled round there today, with driving licence after being called in by the doc for yet another blood test after major surgery 2 weeks ago, and was told by the receptionist my licence was not enough proof and i needed both my passport and a utility bill!! I was turned away!! I had literally just had a blood test there!!!
How much more proof do they need? Even blood isnt enough st this surgery!!!

My 1 year old baby was very ill, they refused to see him on the basis that he had a very high temp, no other symptoms, they said my baby was a risk to them and vulnerable patients (isn’t that why they have the vaccine?) - they fobbed me off to A&E twice where the first time there was no doctor on duty and the second time they examined him and got him straight on antibiotics. He suffered for 3 days because his doctors wouldn’t see him! They need to forget using the Covid excuse and think about duty of care - babies get high temperatures when I’ll and words like Meningitis and Sepsis should be in their minds! They treated us like we were time wasters when neither me or my kids have even been to the doctors in 5 years! Disgusting! The doctors and nurses in hospital are seeing people why are our GP’s not!!!

Can not fault this place. The staff really do care, as can been seen in particular with the receptionist and Julie the nurse.
I have moved around a lot so have been signed to a number of different gp practices and this one is by far the best.

I’ve been going to this practice my whole life, I’ve never had any issues but recently there is one receptionist that is terribly rude and very unhelpful. Thinking of changing due to this woman.
