If i could give a zero review I would, awful treatment of paitents discharged with no treatment or diagnosis, didnt even bother looking at my notes, even though i was under assesment for bi polar and adhd ! Always messing up on prescriptions. If there was another team i would go there, i came out worse than i was when i was referred there.

My daughter is under a team from this place, and they are a joke, my daughter is showing break through symptoms and her care co-ordinator or what ever he calls himself is not listening to the people that know her best, every time she goes down hill she shows the same symptoms and ITS IN HER NOTES, well I hope they read this cos they better get there house in order cos im taking this to higher management, also it is not appropriate for a secretary to give medical advise on the phone off her own back………..good luck Aston because you are going to need it !!!!!!
Mental health services are a joke, Rogerson you call yourself a doctor!!!!!

I wish I could give no stars.
The worst service for mental health. This place is dangerous for people. Most of the people do not care for you or the fact they are dealing with people with mental health. They did t have my notes from the last secondary care time in sussex. And didn’t try to get them. Asked me to reorder everything. Made me feel more crazy. I nearly killed myself due to the lack of support from the lady I email. How do I complain as this is a dangerous service. One example-They texted on a sat evening to tell me I had appointment on Monday. First I heard about this after months of radio silence. I contacted them only to be told well if you can’t make it the next app is in feb. It’s November? I already have another app on Monday so have no choice but to take the next available app which is feb!
I told her that it was people like her why people with mental health issues kill themselves. She then emailed me and gave me the generic phone number and she wouldnt be responding anymore. If could paste the email thread you would see how awful she has been. I’m shocked she even has a job in the nhs. She has tried to discharge me and she has ignored my emails time and time again. Been with this secondary care for nearly a year and I’ve had one app. They changed my meds and they didn’t sort out a repeat. So I basically haven’t had my mends for quite sometime.

My GP referred me and someone from the county duty care team from here called me today, she was very unhelpful and the tone of her voice and the way she responded to questions I answered was shocking. Really sounded like she didn't care at all and wanted to fob me off on charities. I felt I had to defend myself to even get her to listen properly. I cried as soon as I hung up. I had read others reviews prior to the call, and I'm so glad I had a bit of warning of others' experiences. I did think people must have been exaggerating but now I can believe them fully!

I would rate zero if I could.
They completely changed everything I told them, made their own assumptions to my situation, and in the letter i received following up a call they made up 3 different lies. For your own mental health I'd stay well away from this place, if you need support this isn't the place, they are just quick to get rid of you so they don't have to deal with any issues.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely appalling care from them. They discharged me without telling me, refused recommendations from GP and psychiatric liaison from A&E. Didn't have any of my notes from previous sessions and made me repeat everything all over again. Refusing to give me any support while I wait 3 months to see secondary care after waiting 6 months for them to refer me to secondary care. Complaint has been made to the health board against them. Every time I speak to them it makes my mental health worse.

Got referred here as I was in a bad place and needed help as couldn't sort it in my own. Numerous appointments were missed as my contact was like a wet weekend despite having him confirm in writing my appointments. Appointments would come a go with no phone call, no real apologies when chasing them up "oh I forgot". 6 months down the line all that was achieved was a reduction in one of my med how the hell do they think that can help. Phone appt mid January when it should have been 7th. On the back of a couple of good weeks to be told getting discharged back to gp and should I need their services again I would have to go through referral process again. HOW THE HELL CAN I BE DISCHARGED WHEN I'VE NOT BEEN TREATED AND AM NOW BACK TO SQUARE ONE. Feel lost angry and am not sure of what I'm going to do next.
