The doctors i think are are not proper docs just people from the government imo,to get people backintoemployment.I suffer from serious anxiety problems and i took a Zopiclone as it helps my anxiety and breathing etc and my 9th doctor asks why would you want to take a sleeping tablet at this time in the morning...............I wouldn't recommend at all as there a bunchofamateurs.Key-workers think there above you also!!!!!

Claire is a real credit to the place. Really easy to talk to and I didn't sense any judgement from her. I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because by the time I actually got anybody to see me I had done the hard work alone without the advice. They are busy so it's understandable. You have to want it, if you are looking in here at the bad reviews to sway your desicion. Just do it, it is honestly a good place for help and the bad reviews do not reflect the experience I had with them x peace

I attended an inpatient detox at New Beginnings over Easter just gone for long term alcoholism. The service was fantastic. All the staff were, without exception, kind, dedicated, knowledgeable and above all they actually cared. The all went the extra mile doing long hours always professional but moreover always with a smile.
I have now been sober for 55 days and I’m loving it… so massive thanks everyone and thanks for putting up with my sense of humour alongside the group of people I was in there with. I think it was the banter, self depreciative laughs and open chats about ourselves that sealed my wanting to get straight.
In conclusion thank you I owe you all big time .

PS when we ran out of yogurts, mini trifles and eggs it wasn’t me. Big Rob was eating them all 😂

Was almost killed by keyworker. She was totally incompetent. They are always trying to save money, you have to jump through ever changing hoops to get any treatment and virtually beg for it. Any complaints go in the bin. Stewart green would not even speak to me/acknowledge my existance. Seems to get worse every year. "Media star" stewart green couldnt run a sweet shop. Just like to add not all staff are useless. Paul for instance is the best keyworker anyone can have.

Nearly killed my mother. She went there begging for help with alcohol addiction - then told her to continue drinking. She almost drank herself into a comer and was taken into hospital via ambulance as she had “I’ve got to drink this amount that they’ve told me” in her head. She then quite drinking cold turkey, then needed help for therapy and to stay on the straight and narrow after 2 weeks of cold turkey, they’ve now taken those services away because “well, she’s doing it herself” and “rehab is like a holiday”. Disgraceful. My mother had a panic attack whilst in this very meeting. 5th case worker and made her relive trauma all because they couldn’t be bothered to read her notes. Dangerous place full of people that read what they need to say or do off a piece of paper. Train your staff and do better. It’s disgusting. A case worker called Shane laughed at my mother whilst she cried. This is mortifying.

Abysmal service they provide, they dot the I and cross the t ! Leaving service users abandoned after the program is complete, regardless of how people are affected. Would not recommend until services and staff are professional, to tell someone they talk too much in a talking therapy session is horrendous and deeply disrespectful behaviour from a staff member

Seems to go well at first waiting lists can’t be helped however once in the programme your fate is based on your key worker. Some genuinely need looking at whether they should be allowed to work with vulnerable people because their approach to dealing with things is embarrassing. Asked to change key workers as I was constantly ignored by my own until she heard I wasn’t happy and requested a new one, only time I’ve received a call from her was to ask me what my problem was with her, super unprofessional. Left programme and tried to get talking therapies and was told I couldn’t have them until aspire discharged me from services and referred me to them, took them 3 weeks and a numerous phone calls asking to be updated for receptionist to finally see that I’d be discharged with no further support and now nothing could be done, asked to make a complaint. Finally got a call from Neil who was less than interested and did apologise when I said I wasn’t happy about how it had all been handled and how I’d been denied any other support for nearly 4 weeks due to aspire ignoring my requests for discharge and referral, our call got disconnected mid conversation I called back and was told they’d leave him a message to call me back. No call back was ever attempted. I am now at the bottom of the list for talking therapies due to having to re refer myself and god knows how long before I get any support due to aspires negligence. The only good thing I can say about the programme is the people you meet & Anna, Dale & Angela are assets to the company.

My friend needed help to go to rehab. And the staff just make it difficult. They only offer the cheapest option. They send addicted people to a methadone pharmacy. This is the peak of their capabilities. Although they get money from the state budget, money from our taxes. Money to treat addicts. What are they doing with that money? Addicted people need rehab. And no walks to the pharmacy. The staff think drug addiction is like cigarette addiction 🤦🏻♂️
